      2. Sure I remember you. We met at lunch. Thanks for your comments. If you are on Facebook, send a friend request and I will accept. I post quite a bit there almost daily and do the BLOG weekly when I can. Feel free to share the BLOG with anyone you can to help me grow my audience. Hope all is well with you and you don’t have to go back to MAYO. While I was there I had a surprise and had surgery to remove a tumor I didn’t know I had, but all seems well now, no thanks to Obamacare.

  3. RESPONSE TO DECISION TIME

I would like to take this opportunity to respond to your recent BLOG post Decision Time.”

One candidate is pushing to keep or even expand the opportunity for abortion, for the wrong reasons. This need to be thought about with this election.

As a woman that had an abortion at an early age in life, I do not think this should continue. I was taught at an early age that you should not take another human life. Any human life. When I got pregnant I was 16 years old and I felt that I had no other choice. My mother, at the time, was single with 3 other children and living with her parents. She had no way to help me with my child, so I felt that there was nothing else I could do.

I have lived with that decision for 38 years now. I still, to this day, wish I had never gone through with it. I wish people would consider birth control or abstinence rather than an abortion. How about we provide free birth control to those who cannot afford it?

I understand that there are certain situations that may call for an abortion: 1) Being raped, 2) Danger to the mother or child if the pregnancy continues. But to just do it because you do not want a child is just wrong. Yes, I have had an abortion but totally disagree with it !! I know the pain you continue to feel afterwards. Please, I pray, stop this now.

    Been there…..
