In my last post I suggested some radical ways that we as Americans could force immigrants to become more American.  Engraved on a bronze plaque inside the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty is a poem by Emma Lazarus.  This poem includes the lines “give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”   If we study these words we understand what immigrants are welcome to enter our great country and become a part of our culture.  In the early days those immigrating to the United States were forced to assimilate into our customs, language, and culture.

Throughout history assimilation has offered a beacon of opportunity for immigrants seeking to become citizens and is often a structured aspect of the naturalization process, demonstrated through tests on English and civics.  When immigrants began the process of gaining citizenship there was a written test, in English, covering language and civics.  If you were not conversant in English you could not take the test.  Today we offer the same citizenship test in seventeen different languages.  As far as knowledge of civics is required, that is debatable.  Our Congress consists of a group of people that they themselves need to be better educated in Civics.

I earlier stated we should not bend our culture to make it easier for immigrants to exist in our society while continuing to use their foreign skills, ways and culture.   Let them assimilate into our culture and accept our laws or do not come in.  The pendulum has swung so far left that we have inconvenienced ourselves while ceding our country to them.  I mainly speak of Muslims who declare a hate for America and Americans and strive to eliminate us.  We have laws and do not need Sharia law to be integrated into our justice system.

We must take action.  There are different ways we can reclaim America as the land of the free and the home of the brave.  We must have an active Congress.  Look around the halls of government and what do we see?  To me it looks like a bunch of old, rich, drunk power hungry individuals.  These people will never self-impose term limits or restraints on power.  We must do it.  We need to vote out every senile, mentally impaired representative we have in office along with their counter parts in the senate.  We can set our own term limits and keep a situation like we now have from ever developing again.  Congress must be forced to upgrade our immigration system and support law enforcement in their duties enforcing the law.  The Judicial system is as corrupt as any system can be.  Judges today do not enforce justice, they exercise hate of Trump to the detriment of our nation.  Any law enforcement action regarding immigration and deportation is overruled by Judges that have no authority to do so.

We numbly sit by waiting for acts of terrorism to occur yet do nothing to prevent it.  There are domestic terror cells implanted in almost every larger city waiting to be activated.  Yet, in my opinion, we really have no terror problem, we have an immigration problem.  Previous administrations have allowed millions of unvetted radical Muslim terrorist freely infiltrate our borders.  If we were selective on who gained entry and forced assimilation into our culture and society, the terror problem would be negligible.  Illegal immigrants and radicals are responsible for the acts of sedition and rebellion we now see.

The difference in legal and illegal just as black and white.  Legal is appointed or required by the law while illegal is contrary to or forbidden by law.  This means that when one enters this country without going through proper channels they are criminal or illegal.  Stop the illegal entry and you stop the associated problems.  It’s very difficult to put the Genie back in the bottle once she has escaped but that we must do.  Assist law enforcement in the deportation of every illegal immigrant that has gained entry in the past.

Yes, we must take action.  We must rid ourselves of the ineffective ruling bodies we have elected and replace them legally, by voting.  Support the laws we have in place and let no one enter this country illegally, not in accordance with our established laws.  Be active, be vocal, be visible and be educated, that is the action we must take.
