It is with a saddened heart that I share the news of my Mother-in-Law.   She passed away this week, she was just a few months short of being 102 years old. She has entered the land of golden streets , celestial in the sky, the house not built by man, to live with Jesus evermore.  She lived a long wonderful life and I could not have had a better Mother-in-Law.  I wrote the following for her.  Most of you never knew her, but if you did you loved her.

Mrs. Knackstedt Ma’am

She walks among the stars tonight
And softly gazes toward the moon.
Having gained her lofty wings of gold
She now hear the angels sing, I’m told.

Four beautiful daughters now had she,
I was fortunate when one married me.
The other three have houses framed
With morals and virtues, she had trained.

She graced our presence with kindness
Always ready with a tender helping hand.
She ever had a caring, loving family home,
Always knowing, and taking a moral stand.

She had her aches and pains for years
Never heard complaining to anyone.
Alas she rests in total ease and comfort,
Knowing her time on earth is done.

She came from hand cranked cars
To rocket ships that take us far,
Rocket ships she dreamed of riding
Into space to see those stars so far.

Although her years, they number many,
She left this earthly realm too soon.
She dreamed of space to go one day
Now, at last, she found, the heavenly way.

May we all remember to live each day to the fullest. There is no promise for a tomorrow.
