When the carnival comes to town we can have our fortunes and futures told to us by mystics.  Truth, lies, fact or fiction you can determine as time goes by.  Predictions about our futures can be humorous and entertaining or unsettling and nerve wracking.  Only time will tell.  I can recall predictions that were made sixty eight years ago.

From 1953 to 1964 Nikita Khrushchev led the U.S.S.R. as Secretary General of the Communist party.  In this capacity he was the spokesman for the party.  He led the association of communist states with an iron fist.  Nikita Khrushchev was the leading force in creating a divided Berlin, the Berlin Airlift, the Iron Curtain and the cold war.

In 1956, while visiting America, Mr. Khrushchev made some statements concerning us that are worth remembering today and bringing them into our present political scene.  One statement was “we will take America without firing a shot….we will bury you!  We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within.”  This prediction sounds like it came from a smart and wise man, a modern day Nostradamus.  But it came from a man that helped Stalin murder hundreds of thousands of political opponents in Russia.

In our political arena today we find leaders prosecuting their opponents resembling what Khrushchev and Stalin did in their beginning years in control.  Would our Democrat leaders continue this policy and end up murdering their rivals.  This possibility is not farfetched, but could be in the near future.  Politicians, as a rule, have evolved to be persons with no morals or acceptable values but an insatiable hunger for absolute power.

Mr. Khrushchev also stated “We can’t expect the American people to jump from capitalism to communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have communism.”  This accomplishment was to be consummated by investing small bites of communism into the programs and policies of our elected officials, they not consciously knowing what is happening.  This is similar to the frog and boiling water story.

Today our elected leaders are slowly eroding our personal freedoms.  We stand by and allow this to happen while reminiscing about the predictions made in 1956.  Never in my lifetime have I seen a President of The United States of America boldly and unabashedly defy the rulings of the Supreme Court.  This President and leaders of the Democrat Party question and try to overturn legal rulings issued by our highest court.  Criminals are not prosecuted or jailed unless they flagrantly disagree with the policies of the ruling Democrats.

Is it too late to correct this direction of travel or can we unite and save the nation?

I know at this late hour, for the most part, everyone who intends to vote already has chosen their candidate. I beg you to keep in mind that freedoms we have enjoyed in the past are being taken from us a little at a time, just as Khrushchev predicted.   We are being served small bites of communism, and accepting it, just as predicted.

We cannot continue to prosecute and persecute political rivals as has been done and is continuing today.  We cannot stand idly by while foreign interests acquire our lands, and we cannot, in any manner, let foreign entities continue to take control of and influence our educational system.  We must wake up and tell the fortune teller he is wrong, this is America, and we will prevail.  We must show the naysayers that the American people, with the aid of the power of God, will survive.

The greatest enemy of communism is faith and prayer, we must show both.  Education will repel evil forces, so become educated.  Make educated, informed votes remembering “life is hard, but it’s harder when you’re stupid.”

I think it’s time to turn this ship around, come help me.
