EDUCATION VS INTELLIGENCE

Welcome to the warm, dry, miserable month of August.  We should be excited while we anticipate the start of the football season, but somehow we aren’t.  Our young people should be anxiously climbing the walls with new school supplies and waiting to renew friendships with others they haven’t seen since March, but somehow they aren’t.  My youngest son is packing and preparing to go to college next week as we wonder if he will have real or virtual classes.  We are letting our lives be ruled by educated people that exhibit absolutely no intelligence at all.

Education and intelligence have complete and opposite meanings, uses and results when applied and used in the real world.  Education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction and information, especially at a school or university.  Intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply the knowledge and skills in an appropriate manner to cause a solution that is just, right, fair and correct.

After watching our Congress in session recently it is evident we have elected an assemblage of highly educated people to attempt to run our country.  The elocution exhibited while verbally patting themselves on the back affirms the education but at the same time reinforces the complete and utter lack of intelligence they have gleaned over their lifetimes.

American citizens, by the millions, are suffering due to the illegal actions being taken by these educated individuals.  Somewhere along the line we let people that have never ending paychecks make decisions about people that have no paycheck at present.  No amount of education can lower this group of people to understand the challenges of the working class while a smaller number of intelligent people can feel the anguish being suffered.  A stimulus package needed to offset the trials of Covid-19 should be just that.  It should not be an incentive package to stay home from work.  It should not be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and a reward for poor management of cities and states by educated politicians.  It must offer stimulus to the economy.

Intelligence can never be replaced by education but can be supplemented by solid, truthful education.  Education tells us that Socialism, Communism and Anarchy have not worked anywhere in this world, however these same educated individuals push America in that direction  The only way to stop this movement is with intelligence forming the roadblock.

In November we have the duty to vote for leadership of our country for the next four years.  I have repeatedly begged everyone to become educated on the issues and the candidates they choose.  Now I add apply intelligence to the choices you make and know what you are voting for and the results it may bring.  We have a proven leader running for an additional term and we have an empty shirt being led by radicals wanting to end our way of life.

Every patriotic American will be given an opportunity to vote without stooping to mass mail-in voting.  We have successfully had early voting, absentee voting and voting at polling locations on Election Day that worked very well.  Let your intelligence guide you and inform you of the perils awaiting a country that endorses mail-in voting.  Our country was founded by under educated individual to a large part but they were very intelligent.

Be active, be informed, be intelligent and go vote in November.

A collection of diverse friends with equally diverse thoughts is the single most interesting way to gain knowledge.
