CHOICES

We all are faced with making choices every day, repeatedly.  In simple terms a choice is made when faced with two or more options that are available regarding a single issue.  As an example every morning I can make a choice as to what kind of day I will have.  I can marvel at the refreshing, clean rain that is falling or complain about the harsh, bright sun that is shining.  The opposite choice would have me dreading the gloom of the rainy day and the mud that will follow or enjoy the warm rays of the sun and the life it will offer.

Today I find myself having to make choices that are not necessarily pleasant.  I can seek shelter in my house, covering my face and wearing gloves protecting myself from the possible knock on the door and the intrusion of what was once a welcome visitor or, I can greet the day with optimism and a smile and go about my business as usual accepting whatever may befall me with grace and courage.  In other words I make a choice as to whether I will boldly control my life or I will cower in fear and let others control my life.  I choose freedom and liberty for living my life.

I can choose to believe a person that has served in his present capacity for forty years.  He has been a high level advisor to leaders for every medical crisis in that time period.  Every prediction and forecast Dr. Fauci has made has been proven wrong over time, yet many blindly follow his path of destruction.  I choose not to follow this trail.

Every day of our lives most of us make the choice to live a law abiding lifestyle.  I find myself questioning the wisdom of following this route to a peaceful way of life.  I look about and see where people we have elected to lead us and our country choosing to sell their souls to the devil for fame and riches and the ability to avoid justice.  Why can people that are proven to be corrupt and even treasonous escape any shame or punishment?  There will be no justice for the ruling elite until we choose to replace the wrong doers and demand that justice be dealt equally and fairly.

I can make the choice to blindly accept a shutdown, lockdown of our nation or I can choose to use common sense and continue to do business almost as usual.  I say almost as usual meaning we should use common sense, which to a large part we did not do in the past.  It is most unfortunate we have had the loss of life associated with Covid-19 that has been reported.  True numbers are unknown and never will be due mainly to sensationalism through the media.  One statistic that has not been reported is the number of businesses that have been killed or destroyed due to this political fiasco.  The demise of businesses far out numbers the lost lives we have endured.  The number of jobs lost that will never return is the biggest number of all.

One other very important choice I have is determined by the vote.  I will assuredly vote against every democrat, liberal and socialist that I am given the opportunity.  If not given the opportunity I will campaign against them and offer all support possible to their opposition.  Not exempt to my feelings of contempt are the RINO republicans which are in no way republican or conservative.  Again those that feel they are above the law must go.  I will vote my conscience and not be ashamed of my choices.  If my choice of candidates is not elected, I will support the winner, unlike so many Dems and liberals, and pray for them to be guided.

The one big choice we all have to make is how much we love our country: not at all, somewhat, or completely.  How will you choose?  The answers are; don’t vote, vote, become involved.  Whatever you choose, prepare yourself to live with the consequence. This will be the most important election in the history of our country to date.  The campaign will be long, dirty and to some extent corrupt but you can help make it better.

Whatever your personal feeling are concerning Covid-19, the shut down or our freedom and rights being taken away, you must become involved.  You can rest assured that Google, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms will exercise all the muscle they can muster to control the election in the direction they want.  We can’t let that happen.  The social media platform is much more dangerous than Russian interference can ever be.

You may think I’m wrong, but you know I’m right.

The thoughts and ideas expressed above are exclusively those of Jack Straley and www.justplaintalkwithjack.com  We may agree, and that’s fine, or we may disagree, that’s okay too.  My sole purpose is to encourage others to think, study, and become involved. Exercise your freedom and above all, when presented the opportunity, please vote.
