MORAL OR IMMORAL

In the world today we often find politicians creating or emphasizing certain words or phrases to use as a means to garner more attention or arouse emotions. Two frequently heard and read words that imply completely opposite emotions are moral and immoral. All of us can readily find examples to stress the meaning and proper use of both words.

I would dare to make such an encompassing statement as to say most all of us attempt to live a moral life and stress the values of living such a life to our offspring. One’s morals are affected by religion, culture, family unit, community and education. One blatant example of someone being affected or influenced by education, or lack thereof, and displaying virtually zero aspects of morals is the recently elected representative from the once great state of New York. She is quite often quoted or cited for having made statements she deems as moral while in fact they have absolutely no basis for morality. I attribute this as another example of the product of public education taught in schools where many students cannot or will not speak English.

Any act or deed that is of true moral value should be heeded and applauded. Creating absolute falsehoods in the name of morality is itself immoral. One subject today is building, erection of or enforcing of a secure border and if it is moral or immoral.

The reigning princess of the dark, Mrs. Nancy Pelosi, proclaims that a border wall or barrier of any type would be immoral. We are comprised of an immigrant population and therefore should grant access to this country for anyone from anywhere, regardless of history, biography or past discretions. According to Mrs. Pelosi the only one not welcome into this country is the unborn child of a fellow American. Mrs. Pelosi is anxious to pass bills funding abortion in foreign countries that make the monies needed for border security seem insignificant. Ask Mrs. Pelosi if her stance on abortion is moral or immoral. Ask Mrs. Pelosi if she actually knows the separate meanings of the two words. I don’t include Mr. Schumer in these discussions since he has reneged on any semblance of leadership and helped place the crown of leadership and speaking on his counterpart in the House of Representatives.

Is it not moral to provide adequate housing for detained illegal immigrants? Is it not moral for our court system to not be able to adjudicate immigration cases in an expeditious manner? Is it not moral to protect tax paying American citizens from crime and disease? Is it immoral to demand immigrants be proficient in English so as not to disrupt the education of American citizens? These items are included in the requests for funding our president is requesting. Contact your Representatives and Senators, regardless of party affiliation, and demand they take action on the border issue and support our legally elected president, Mr. Donald J. Trump.

We can build five walls on our southern border and not spend as much as we will spend on illegal immigrant healthcare in one year. Calculate the costs involved with assistance for illegal immigrants along with the obscure costs of additional infrastructure use and maintenance. Determine the costs involved with children below grade level that do not speak English and add that to the above. What is the cost or lost potential of a life lost by drug overdose? The list goes on and on. Makes the cost of creating a secure border pretty inexpensive doesn’t it? The unmeasurable cost of criminal activity is not included in these numbers. What is the cost of one murder? What is cost of one rape? What is the cost of one home invasion? Get the point yet? I do. Where do you want your efforts and money to go?

Mexico will not write a check to pay for a wall, we all know that. However the benefits and rewards garnered through the USMCA trade agreement will more than pay the total cost rapidly. This in essence is the realization that Mexico will be paying for the wall.

Nancy, now really, what do you consider moral and what is immoral? Just us talking, no press around I bet you would laugh and say different things than you do out loud. You can’t be as stupid as your statements make you look. Try speaking the truth for once just to see if Mr. Schumer agrees or is taken aback.

You may think I’m wrong, but in reality I’m still right.

The thoughts and ideas expressed above are exclusively those of Jack Straley and http://www.justplaintalkwithjack.com We may agree, and that’s fine, or we may disagree, that’s okay too. My sole purpose is to encourage others to think, study, and become involved. Exercise your freedom and above all, when presented the opportunity, please vote.

  1. Yes Jack. Pelosi is truly that stupid but her desire for power is fierce. She has bought, threatened and bullied her way back into leadership once again. Without her money she would be powerless. I believe she is also a tool of the devil and will evidentually burn herself out. However in the meantime she can and will cause immense harm to our President and our country. May God intervene.
