CHRISTMAS 2018

The tree stands glowing and tall
With gifts scattered up to the wall.
The winter day shines bright and clear
While peace and joy has settled near.

Little children are running to and fro
Grabbing cookies, as along they go.
The packages wrapped so very bright
Are filled with goodness and great delight.

The snow may fall ever so softly tonight
Leaving tracks of reindeer stopped in flight
Soot from the chimney is all around
And little children the tree surround.

The innocence of the morning warm
Keeps the people from unknown harm.
The papers and the bows now undone
Reflect the love for each and every one.

Days will come with many hours to play
Leaving not much that we need to say.
Wishing you all, with joyous tear, a very
Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
