President Trump has been placed on a cold, windy plateau by his fellow republicans, and he has received no cover from them.  By cover I mean republicans have made no effort to shield or protect him from the radicals that block and obstruct every move he makes.   

I think we all realize and see that even though democrats may not like Hillary, they still unite behind her and support her and every democrat initiative introduced.  Republicans, when in the position to control, do not unite and will not move forward as one unit. 

The last time a republican congress accomplished anything worthwhile was when Newt Gingrich led them.  Republicans campaigned they could do nothing because democrats were in power and held the majority in congress.  We the people gave them control of both The House of Representatives and the Senate and sat by while they still did nothing.  Once again, we the people spoke out loudly and elected a president, giving them control of all three branches of government.  They still do nothing for the good of our country. 

Look at the good President Trump has been able to accomplish, primarily with executive orders.  Republicans let the democrats revel in their folly enacting investigation after investigation and roadblock after roadblock.  Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate leader Mitch McConnell have proven they are spineless and have no leadership ability.  With leadership in the Republican Party there would be no investigations, unless they were investigating democrats, because they control Congress.  They can stop the investigations that are ongoing now and prevent future ones.  When will republicans unite and provide coverage for our president? 

The only way we can win this battle is by starting a movement of letter writing, e-mails and phone calls reminding our elected officials what we voted for and what we want.  We need to remind them they can and will be replaced in the 2018 mid-term elections unless they get busy.  Once again the republicans have placed themselves in a position to be a one term controlling factor. 

The only other way we, republicans, can maintain any sense of majority control is through the Convention of States.  While wholeheartedly agreeing with the movement for a Convention of States, we have limited time to act.  We cannot wait for the convention to organize; we must wake up now and support President Trump. 

We need tax reform and we need it badly.  With democrat control of Congress this will never happen, except to increase them.  We need budgetary control which will not happen under democrats.  Term limits are imperative for our democratic republic to survive .

The 2018 elections are approaching rapidly.  We must unite and force our representation to help drain the swamp, of which they are a large part.  We have to be active in the primaries to replace the existing misrepresentation we have with patriots and then support them all out in the general election. 

Help me today to start a campaign of letter writing and bombardment of e-mails instructing Congress to get busy.  If they do not heed the warning we can give them, they must be replaced, now. 

Support, campaign and then elect people that care about our country.  Only if they truly care can they help “Make America Great Again.”
