If one takes the time to sit back and look at the political arena, and is honest, that person would have to be envious and jealous how the democrats can unite as a team with a common goal and agenda. If there is deep cliff looming ahead, they will not stop. They remain united and march over the edge as one. Why can the republicans watch this scene repeatedly, and not learn from it.
The democrat agenda is to cause as much confusion and obstruction as humanly possible. They will feel they have succeeded when our nation becomes so embroiled in turmoil that it becomes impossible for government to function and rule. No matter what the issue is, democrats will oppose it and work to defeat it. How can this group render so much obstruction? Republicans have the majority in the house, the majority in the senate and a republican occupying the oval office. There is no legal or sane way they can block everything proposed by republicans.
We supported and voted for a crude, brash outspoken outsider for president. Mr. Trump is unquestionably one of the most successful businessmen there is, he is not a politician. He became successful not by succumbing to the whims of the minority. We are looking for the brutal businessman to emerge and clean the swamp. Step up, take charge and move forward.
It is evident that the federal government is full of career politicians, Obama carry over’s and devout Clintonites. It is time to fire them all. Replace them with people that will support his agenda and not divulge information meant to stay within the confines of the halls of government. If the source of leaks is found, prosecute them. I have no recollection of prosecution for any one guilty of leaks in the past. Once in a position in government civil service it seems you have a job for life, regardless of how inept one might be. They appear to become above the law.
Some are charging our president with obstruction of justice, without any proof or facts. At the same time we have a Director of the F.B.I. being fired, justifiably so, because of his arrogance and superiority of the rule of law. Mr. Comey felt he was more important than the entire Department of Justice. He played the role of sheriff, judge, and jury and wanted to be the executioner. He single handily managed to sweep another Clinton act of treason under the rug. No one is above the law, unless you are a democrat or a democratic appointee.
What in the name of all that is sacred are we to do to get government functioning again? In the world of make believe there is a show on ABC Wednesday nights called “Designated Survivor.” This show is based on a situation that finds most of government annihilated and trying to regroup. Hopefully nothing like this will ever happen to us but in the absence of term limits, it would give us a chance to get new people in Washington.
Mr. Trump, ignore the main stream media, be brutal and start taking control. The American people will support you and help where possible. Be the aggressive pragmatist you have always been. We voted in an outsider; don’t attempt to pacify those that would destroy you. You cannot make the democrats move to the center to help you. They will remain in lockstep until you are gone. Do not lower yourself to their level and attempt to join them. They will stab you in the back immediately. Your base is loyal and trusting in you, do not let us down. Being an outsider is what has the media confused and irate while democrats fear their leisure life will disappear as the swamp is drained. You may get muddy while making it happen, but keep draining the swamp.
Steve Bannon said early on: “if you think they will give your country back easily, they won’t. It will be a dirty fight” and it is. If we come together as a team we can prevail. I heard parts of a speech given today at The Coast Guard Academy graduation. In this speech Mr. Trump said “never, never, never give up. Good will prevail.” I look forward to being on the winning team.
