NO KING

The thoughts and ideas expressed below are exclusively those of Jack Straley and www.justplaintalkwithjack.com  We may agree, and that’s fine, or we may disagree, that’s okay too.  My sole purpose is to encourage others to think, study, and become involved. Exercise your freedom and above all, when presented the opportunity, please vote.

First off, let me apologize.  It’s late Thursday afternoon or early evening, it’s been a hectic day, but I want to share some thoughts while I can.

Seems like the popular mantra for protesting, rioting, or just raising havoc revolves around royalty.  The masses yell and scream NO KING while they wave flags of other countries in front of the television cameras.  How ridiculous, if we had a king you would not dare do such things.  You would immediately be jailed, stoned (not with drugs) or possibly beheaded.  Our freedoms and our form of government make it possible for you to act like lunatics without fear of accountability.  Love what you have or get the heck out of dodge.  We let our cities burn and buildings destroyed and looted all in the name of Peaceful Protests.  Such is the political cry from the evil, anti-American Democrat Party.  It is no wonder why you lost and will continue to do so until you find legitimate direction and sane leadership.

If President Trump were a king things would be different, very different.  He would have free reign to enact any ordinance or act at his pleasure.  There would be no lowly District Judges attempting to circumvent his constitutional authority and causing roadblocks and distractions continually.  We would still have dungeons and most would be filled with mostly Peaceful Protesters.  There would be no professional paid protesters blocking our freeways and roadways.  Maybe in some ways, with today’s society as it is some kingly acts might not be too bad.

On a much larger issue, I must opine.  The United States has no option but to support Israel in its struggle against Iran.  If we allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons with rocketry capable of accurate delivery around the globe, the end will be near.  Between the covers of the Holy Bible we are told repeatedly that the day Israel falls the return of Jesus is imminent.  Pray for and support Israel.

Again, on a personal note:  Tomorrow, Friday, June 20 at 5:00am I will report to Huntsville Hospital for Open Heart, Quadruple bypass surgery.  Until recently I knew not I had a heart problem.  I was blindsided with this news.  I will most likely be out of pocket for a few weeks, but I will return.  No way can I keep my mouth shut.  This is unknown territory for me and I unashamedly ask for your prayers.  Upon receiving this news I felt compelled to write something.  This poem could apply to many people that face the unknown each and every day.  I hope someone, somewhere can find some comfort in it as I do.  I hope you read it and that it means something to you.

            UNKNOWN

The great unknown, has come upon me,
But fear is not a companion, that I feel.
Knowing not what lays in wait before me
I rest assured your hands will help me heal.

The surgeon’s hands by you are guided,
Filled with knowledge that you provided.
If there are chores remaining, for me to do
Then down that pathway, I must pursue.

If the time has come, to take me home,
Then gladly along that road I’ll go.
Standing as you read the ledger tome
My sins erased, and good deeds, it will show.

The great unknown still stands before me
I’m knowing not what is yet for me in store.
But with love and faith and trust in Thee,
The great unknown, will be to me, no more.

I will return and I remain your friend and continuing source of truth and information.  See you soon.
