This is my favorite time of the year
Glitter, glitz, bright lights and cheer.
All the young voices, singing fun songs
Praying for peace, for which we all long.

The gifts all wrapped and neatly stacked
Under the tree, with goodies all packed.
The star on the tree top, so proudly stands
Lights and tinsel, placed with loving hands.

The baby in the manger set, quietly lays
While in the snow the children all play.
Ribbons, bows and bells on the door
Looking cheerful make our spirits soar.

Peace and love, all around us abounds
The marvel of Christmas surely astounds.
The greatest gift, the season to us gives
Is faith in knowing Jesus, our Savior, lives.

May this year find you happy and hale
/Knowing in Christ you can never fail.
The best to you and your family too
Is my Christmas wish for all of you.
