SENSIBLE

The thoughts and ideas expressed below are exclusively those of Jack Straley and www.justplaintalkwithjack.com  We may agree, and that’s fine, or we may disagree, that’s okay too.  My sole purpose is to encourage others to think, study, and become involved. Exercise your freedom and above all, when presented the opportunity, please vote.

At times it seems almost everyone (except me) has lost all reason and sanity.  It is now established that the election contest will be a repeat between sensible and incompetent.  The race is on between Biden and Trump, that’s your choice.  Whether you love one candidate and despise the other, or you hate both, you will have to choose between these two.

When making your choice, study your options.  Learn, if possible, the capabilities of each choice.  Study their stance on every issue that matters to you.  This will be the most critical choice you have made in your life so far and will have consequences that can destroy our nation.

In an ongoing effort to aide you in determining who should occupy the Oval Office for the next four years I want to share someone else’s work that I came across.  The author is unknown but someone I would dearly love to meet and have coffee with.  The article titled WHO AM I VOTING FOR – AND WHY follows.

That moment when someone says “I can’t believe you would vote for Trump.”  I simply reply “I’m not voting for Trump.”

I’m voting for the First Amendment and freedom of speech.

I’m voting for the Second Amendment and my right to defend and protect my life and my family.

I’m voting for the next Supreme Court Justice(s) to protect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I’m voting for the continued growth of my retirement 401k and the stock market.

I’m voting for a return of our troops from foreign countries and the end to America’s involvement in foreign conflicts.

I’m voting for the Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live.

I’m voting for the Police to be respected once again and to ensure Law and Order.

I’m voting for the continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect and honor the Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

I’m voting for our jobs to remain in America and not be outsourced all over China, Mexico and other foreign countries that are trying to destroy us.

I’m voting for Secure Borders and Legal Immigration.

I’m voting for the Military and the Veterans who fought for this Country to give the American people their freedoms.

I’m voting for the unborn babies that have a right to live.

I’m voting for continued peace progress in the Middle East. Of Religion.

I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking.

I’m voting for Freedom of Religion.

I’m voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored.

I’m not voting for just one person, I’m voting for the future of my Country.

I’m voting for my children and my grandchildren to ensure their freedoms and their future.

What are you voting for?

If one considers the above, it can help restore sensibility to our nation and our leaders.  Vote your conscience, but consider all the consequences.  We need to restore sanity immediately.

As John Wayne said, “Life is tough, but it’s tougher when you’re stupid.”  Get smart, become educated and familiar with the truth but above all be sensible.  Eliminate hate, prejudice and old-time party loyalty.
