I have had the opportunity to have lived a great life.  I grew up the son of a hardworking dry land farmer.  He worked hard but was never able to acquire wealth other than a close knit Christian family that was full of love.  We were all poor, in the financial aspect, but we didn’t know it, neither did the other families we knew.

Our food was fresh and good.  All our needs were met.  We played outside and had no TV’s to occupy our time.  We walked the pastures and picked grapes while chasing rabbits and squirrels.  We stopped and picked up grapevine to smoke thinking no one would ever know, but they did.  Life was simple, but good.

We grew and received better educations than our parents ever thought possible.  We entered the work world and excelled faster than we ever dreamed.  We were focused and knew nothing was free but that our efforts would be rewarded.  In my part of the world the opportunities were pretty much equal for all to compete and succeed in. 

Race was a factor, but it wasn’t the determining factor.  LGBTQ+ was unheard of, there were boys that we called sassy’s and they played with dolls and girls.  There were also girls that were as masculine as any boy in school.  We just accepted them as being strange and finally began to call them queer. 

We remembered our Civics’ and history lessons and realized the importance of participating in elections and government.  We voted regularly and even campaigned for our choices.  As the years progressed something happened.  The schools quit teaching civics” and we started missing some elections.  Democrats and liberals promised more and more free stuff that appealed to the younger voters.  The government can give us everything, it has lots of money.  These same politicos began to bring race relations back up, they opened our borders, and we let it happen.

Good, honest leadership is a rare commodity but corrupt forces can manipulate elections and slowly take over the country.  This what we let happen and is continuing to happen, faster and faster every year and every day.  It has reached a critical point that must be reversed if it’s not too late.

In November 2024 we have a presidential election scheduled.  We must have a person of strength, honor and patriotism, ready to fight the evil forces and restore our nation to what it once was.  If we sit by, refusing to be vocal and even become involved when necessary, it will be our last free election.  Our country will be lost to the evil forces within the Democrat party.  We will awaken to a sad truth, it will be difficult to tell our country from Russia and we could be speaking Chinese.  By 2027 our college graduates will have no student debt, we won’t be living in nice home and eating good food.  The 40 hour work week will be a fading memory and vacations to the beach will be a far off dream.

Our country has existed for 247 years of which I have been able to live 31 percent of this history.  I’ve seen men go to the moon and discover cures for terrible diseases.  Remember these times with me, they may be gone very soon.  This is all the fault of our generation.  We didn’t educate our children the way we should and now we, as well as they, will pay the price.

Corruption and corrupt people will always exist however, with the help of our God, morals and virtue we can stop them.  Now is the time to act, we put it off or ignore what is happening.  It has been a great life, let’s fight to keep it that way.
