My goodness, I’ve been told our country is in a debt crisis.  I wonder how that can be.  It was a long time ago I learned I had to live within my means.  Credit cards made it easy to exceed my means and then I found out there was a penalty for this excess.  It was called interest.  How terrible, the banks wanted to charge me interest and then expected me to pay it on predetermined dates.  If I got behind, I never had the luxury of incurring more debt to pay my debt.  I never had the opportunity to increase my debt limit by myself, others (the banks) set those limits.

Our government now finds itself in similar circumstances.  It has spent all available funds and  approved credit, and wants more.  Hopefully the powers that be will not arbitrarily raise the debt balance. There is no way the current debt can be repaid therefore how more debt could ever be paid is beyond comprehension.  Our government has no fiscal constraints or responsibility.  It is time to put the brakes on and live within the limits of incoming revenue.  Paying down the debt will be a slow and painful process.  Do we really expect a senile, incoherent president to negotiate anything to correct the mess.

Our government is simply too big.  I have stated over and over that it is time to downsize.  The Department of Education is not the only department that should be erased, there are plenty more, how about the EPA for example.  We can replace annual budget increases by substituting annual reductions.  If we need to reduce by 20% we should cut all personnel by 15%.  Those salaries and associated expenses would accomplish the goal.  There is way too much fat, waste, and abuse in every branch of government that the 15 or 20% would never be missed if improved efficiency is implemented.

It is completely immoral and fear mongering to have our President and Democrat Party repeatedly state that necessities could not be paid without a debt increase.  We continue to have tax revenues coming in that are more than capable to pay our military, social security, and Medicare, especially if the fraud in these areas was stopped and the abusers prosecuted.  Let the government shut down, everyone still gets paid and we continue to pay taxes.

Unless our elected officials take immediate action to reduce spending, implement debt repayment, and get our nation on solid fiscal ground, the first cut should be their pay.  Not only should we stop their pay but also stop pensions, insurance payments, and all other benefits they have at their fingertips.  All monies sent to foreign (hostile) nations under the title of humanitarian aid should be suspended.

It is imperative we secure our borders and stop all welfare and assistance to illegal immigrants, to this country.  Instead of hiring 87,000 new armed IRS agents let’s hire 87,000 new armed Border Patrol Agents with orders to secure the border.  They are called illegal immigrants for a reason.  They are criminals, if not before entering our country then simply by coming in the way they do.  They should have no rights or benefits.  We can treat them humanely but that’s all.  There are legal avenues available, use them or stay the hell out.  Go back to your native countries and correct your corrupted mess and make it better.

We are out of time.  Write letters, send emails, send telegrams, text message, and make phone calls to every Senator, Representative, and the President informing them of our displeasure.  We need to flood their offices, email inboxes, mail boxes and all other avenues of access until they get the message.  It all starts with one person, will that be you?  If each elected person got 1,000,000 pieces of mail or messages and the president got 50,000,000 they could not ignore the movement.

It starts with one patriot and grows as word is spread.  It must start now.  I will start, follow me please.
