I turn on the radio or the television and am greeted by the giddy talking heads about the biggest loser from last Tuesday night.  They mostly proclaim in joyful unison that it was Donald J. Trump, I disagree.  The red wave fizzled but not due to the effort of Mr. Trump, it was due to Mitch McConnell.

Unfortunately, the biggest loser in these elections, was the American people.  This country needs a wave of patriotic, conservative, Christian leaders to emerge.  That didn’t happen because patriotic, conservative, Christian people did not turn out in large enough numbers to make the difference.

Mitch McConnell would rather maintain his role of leadership over a minority than be a part of a majority.  He exercised his control over funding of candidates for his benefit, not for the benefit of the country.  If the candidates stated they might not support him in his bid for leader of the party in the Senate, he pulled millions from their campaigns.  Blake Masters is a prime example.  When asked if he would support McConnell he replied, “Probably not.”  Within twenty-four hours Mitch pulled seven million dollars in campaign funds from his campaign.  Mitch must go.  Mitch together with Rep. Kevin McCarthy are not what congress needs for leaders.

The people that think they won will have a day of reckoning in the future.  The indoctrinated, under informed people turned out in masses and controlled the process.  The Democrats have governed in recent years with rampant liberalism and socialism and mesmerized this sector of voters.   It is a fantasy that cannot continue.  When the printing presses become idle and the supply of phony money dries up, they will be unprepared and lost as to what to do.

Mr. Trump is the most qualified person to become president in 2024, however I hope he doesn’t.  There is no other person in this country that could do what did in four short years to strengthen America and improve Americans lives.  He has had more brickbats thrown at him than anyone could ever expect to survive, yet he did, and he prospered.  He has sacrificed much of his fortune for the betterment of our country yet receives more negative press than all Democrats combined.

Mr. Trump, you are a smart person, act like it.  You are hated and feared by too many others to become effective again.  I think you will greatly harm the Republican Party by causing unnecessary conflicts between other qualified candidates.   You can still lead the Republican Party, if you so desire, with your contributions and advice to whoever the nominee might eventually be.

My father told his children in a lesson about getting along with others, “it’s okay to tell a man to go to hell, but you have to tell him in a way that makes him look forward to the trip.”  You have not mastered this art.  Your brashness has gained you support among many, but has cost you dramatically.  Tone down your rhetoric and learn to share your platform with others.  We need a qualified, conservative leader now more than ever before.  You can aide in the process of obtaining one.  Your time as President has passed, now you need to become active in becoming a President Maker.  Help us get the one we need, that can lead, and above all be elected.
