Today I take a different avenue with my BLOG. I still try to offer new and insightful information to others. This is a different direction but very worthwhile. I want to share a story about a amn I met in Fort Worth, Texas. It was a meeting I will never forget.
I recently had occasion to be in the Fort Worth area visiting. As usual we talked and compared ailments and pains. Having been diabetic for several years I have endured severe pain and discomfort with neuropathy and general soreness in my feet. My pain would be so intense that I found it hard to walk or take the simplest of steps on some days. Often I would wake up due to the pain in my feet.
A couple years ago I had orthotic diabetic shoes prescribed and wore. These shoes helped but did not completely relieve the pain but it was much better. Both before and after the shoes I used CBD cream on my feet sometimes as often as four times a day. I could not wear socks because I could feel every thread woven into the bottoms of the socks. It was a mess. I was now diagnosed with Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome and the only remedy was surgery. This procedure would involve two surgeries and approximately five months recovery.
I guess the people I was visiting grew tired of hearing my woes and offered unsolicited advice. They recommended I visit “Coopers Footcare” in Fort Worth. I did. I went in without an appointment and was promptly greeted and introduced to Mr. Cooper. Mr. Cooper started working with his father and has remained with the business for over sixty years.
The environment was super friendly and relaxed. There was never any pressure exerted for me to purchase anything, but I did buy. After consultation and evaluation recommendations were made to help my feet and me feel better. I was offered shoes and custom inserts that he made in store as I waited. I was told outright that this was not a cure but a step to make me feel better.
Long story short. I purchased both items. I wore the shoes home and my feet hurt hardly at all. I have had the shoes two months now and wear them daily. I have not used CBD since the day I purchased the shoes and I can now wear socks occasionally. I am considering taking another trip to Texas and will certainly go by Coopers and get a second pair.
As always with my BLOG, I emphasize these are my opinions only. With that in mind I recommend that anyone with foot pain or discomfort make the trip to Fort Worth. Meet Mr. Cooper and his staff and just possibly you will find the relief I found.
I would rather be offended by the truth than pleased and pacified by lies.
