I feel there is an ill wind blowing.  The airways are filled the rhetoric that there will be a red wave in 2022.  The voices echo the sounds that the democrats are sealing their own fate and will lose control of the Congress.  An ill wind blows trash and wrong messages.  Unless all the complacent voters become active no change will take place.  Conservatives will not win if we sit idly by riding on rumors of change by others.

The ongoing battle surrounding passage of the Biden Build Back Better bill looks like it will continue into 2022 with no guarantees on passage or not.  We have approximately eighteen so call republicans that no one knows how their vote will go on any given day.  Our Congress, as a whole, has decided to not listen to the voices of the people they represent.  Inflation, with its grip on society and our economy, will bankrupt our country if not checked. 

There seems to be a universal complacency concerning our national borders that is destroying our laws and the entire justice system.  We spend billions protecting the borders of far away nations while ignoring our own.  Morals, principles and integrity erode with each and every illegal immigrant we allow to enter our sovereign nation.  We will not have a nation of loyal Americans if this continues.

No conversation, discussion or debate can take place without it being relegated to race.  I grew up in central Texas in the 50’s and can remember racism.  We had the black school and we had a white school.  Our restaurants allowed blacks to eat inside, in the kitchen.  We had multiple restrooms for women, men and others.  We had water fountains designated black only.  That was racist but we outgrew it.  Our past has not been perfect but it has been better than any other society I am aware of.

Most young people, those under 40, regardless of color, don’t know crap about discrimination.  They may have heard tales and been told stories but they have not experienced it.  I think I must be a person of color.  I am not black, red or yellow, but I am not white, which I am called.  My skin is a light brown or tan, what color is that.  Don’t let yourself be discriminated against, get up out of the hate and pity pile and make something of yourself.

Government will not rescue you.  It will only increase the hate and jealousy that does exist.  It will make you more dependent on the welfare state.  This is not what anyone wants or needs.  Vote for representation that will listen to you and keep leveling the playing field for all people.  Democrat or Republican we need to clean Congress of the power brokers and manipulators.  Vote for strong, pure leadership and make America as great as it can be.

Become educated and act as an informed voter. That will save America.
