FAR FROM OVER

This election is far from over and I have returned to see it through.  First off I would like to apologize to my local and international cadre of loyal followers for the extended absence I have been party too.  There was an election and the next day I went in for a simple, outpatient procedure, but as has happened too many times recently I experienced complications and have just now felt up to communicating.

I can clearly remember many of my acquaintances shouting and cheering “Not my President” and “Never Trump.”  Now it’s my turn.  If the election ends and finds Joe Biden the President of the United States, I will respect the office and offer prayers for his leadership to help America.  I will never be a Biden supporter but I will support the United States. I will not burn, rob, injure or destroy people or their property due to my dissatisfaction with the election outcome, but don’t expect me to bow down or surrender my rights to the socialist left.

I am confused.  I find it hard to believe so many Americans are so possessed with hate that they can vote for a pair of far left, socialist progressives while disregarding the accomplishments of President #45.  My short lifetime has spanned only thirty percent of the life of this nation but I have witnessed more good things occurring for our country over the last four years than happened at any other four year period.  President Trump over saw the strongest economy ever recorded.  He made borders more secure than ever before.  He renegotiated international trade agreements to be more agreeable to American interests than had previously been done.  If Biden ends up being elected, China will be the greatest benefactor, in reality they will dictate the direction of the world.  He has worked tirelessly to Make America Great Again, often without the support and backing he deserved and needed.

I am confused.  I have always felt the primary job of the media, both print and electronic, was to relay the news on events taking place at home and around the world.  The op-ed section was reserved for political comments and provided a platform for individual propaganda leanings to be expressed.  The mass media has evolved to nothing more than a propaganda machine with facts being left to fall where they may.  Truth has no place of importance when it comes to presenting political views and interpretations to the public.

I am confused.  I always felt that people that actually took the time and made the effort to vote were reasonably informed on the issues and knew the character of the people running for office.  This year post-election polls show twenty percent of the people that voted for Joe Biden would have cast their vote for Trump or not voted at all if they had known about the sexual allegations against him or the details of the international business dealings of the Biden family.  Has the media done its job by not informing the public of these issues?  High tech social platforms influenced the election by blocking opposing views and unfavorable stories concerning their favored selection.  We have no longer got a free and fair press.  Our current situation makes the yellow journalism of days gone by pale.  We need journalists, not fiction writers compiling our news stories.

I am confused.  I have been taught from my earliest days there were three branches of government all with distinct and differing roles to perform.  In recent times this has changed with no authorization to do so.  Our Judicial branch has become another legislative branch making laws from the bench without regard to the constitution.  When rendering judicial decisions they now rule by personal feelings as if we had no constitution to guide them.

This election is far from over.  We need to wrap ourselves in the armor of God and fight the battle to see that honesty, fairness and legality prevail in the end.  Mr. Trump is still my President, help me fight to keep him there another four years.  America needs him as much or more now than ever before.  Keep the faith, support the effort, and never, never give op.  The fight is far from over.
