The Constitution of the United States of America is the basic foundation for a government of the people, by the people and for the people. This means every concerned citizen is entitled to know the stance any individual running for office holds on any particular issue. Not only are we entitled to know, the candidate is obligated to inform us. There should be no issue the voters are not fully and truthfully informed on.
Today, with the most important election in our history approaching, we have a group seeking power that refuses to answer any questions. The position this group has concerning our courts is the most critical to me only on a par with converting our nation to a socialistic society. Much of our success as a nation is because we have been a nation of law and order, which we are on the verge of losing. Of equal importance in this election is the control of Congress. Without the support and backing of Congress a new President cannot change us to a Socialist or Communist based country.
The impending election is focused on electing a President and Vice-President that will lead our government for the next four years. Looking down ticket we find a little talked about position we will vote on. That position is our local District Attorneys and subsequently our state Attorneys General. Mister Soros and others with big money backing have, for years, worked to elect and place in positions of power the attorneys. Our legal system is being flooded with liberal, socialist leaning prosecutors. Most politicians use these offices as stepping stones to higher offices and more influence. These offices become centers for legislating rather than enforcing our laws. We need prosecutors and judges that follow the constitution and will enforce law and order as written rather than legislating from the bench swayed by personal leanings and the wishes of wealthy backers
At the present time we have an individual running for our highest office, President of the United States, that has stated the “voters do not deserve to know” his stance of particular issues. The two most concerning positions for me are the stacking of the Supreme Court and supporting statehood for Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.
Stacking the court simply means increasing the number of Judges from the present nine to any number necessary to give their party a majority and control of the institution. The role of the Supreme Court justices is to rule on laws on interpretation of their constitutionality. Their job is not to rewrite the constitution to match their personal feelings or party wishes. All legal balance will disappear.
The statehood issue is another vital question. The balance of Congress would become skewed by granting statehood to the two mentioned locales, both heavy democrat, liberal and corrupt territories. The Senate would immediately gain four democratically controlled seats shifting the power to the liberal left. If that happens, conservatives will never win another election.
On the Coronavirus Stimulation package being debated in Washington, let Nancy Pelosi wiggle with her decisions and influence. Do not give her what she demands, we don’t have the money to give. The Fed cannot continue to print worthless money. We will end in a position of paying hundreds of dollars for a loaf of bread, for an example. Selfishly, being retired and on a limited income, my funds will dwindle to nothing. Is this what you want for your retirement years?
November 3rd your choices are becoming very limited. We do deserve and need answers from our candidates. If they won’t answer, we should, by not electing them. We must vote conservative on the complete ballot. Our District Attorneys, State Attorneys General, and all congressional candidates must be conservative and elected along with President Donald Trump and Vice-President Mike Pence. America needs this to survive.
Yes Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris, we Americans do deserve to know your position on all the issues, if you can’t share them with us, drop out of the race.
