History is a record of past events, typically in chronological order, usually of human affairs. Our schools have taught history with books approved by a committee or panel. These books are replaced with updated versions on a regular basis and history changes with every revision. If you have older books in your library, I recommend you save them and start the process of teaching our offspring the true history as it occurred. The public schools cannot be trusted with this valuable responsibility any longer. They teach what they are told to teach.
I have had the opportunity to travel much of this great land and a big portion of Europe. I have enjoyed seeing the monuments that have been erected and proudly stood for years depicting their own parts of history through marble and granite and art. Most statues are of valiant warriors while others are of noble statesmen. We have come to a point in our country where monuments to battles won or lost, and politicians and orators regardless of their stance on issues must be destroyed. Only stories of history that are to be related and retold are those in agreement with popular movements at the time. As with most political life, truth be damned.
We can systematically and without hesitation attempt to destroy and erase all references to our history at will. However as we destroy remnants of the past we lose all reference of who and what we are and from where we came. Without the knowledge of the past and acceptance of where we are we have no compass to direct where we will head in the future and what we may become. In this environment we are allowing social radicals and politically correct factions to determine our fates. We are on the road to becoming a herd of followers allowing anarchy to determine our lives.
I personally find Black Lives Matter as offensive as any slogan introduced in modern days. If you cannot find it within yourself to admit All Lives Matter and all matter equally, you are part of the problem. This slogan, just like the monuments is being used by many to draw sympathy for past sins including slavery. Please take a moment and step back. Slavery has been practiced in every country of this world, either selling of slaves or using them. As records verify there have been as many white slaves as there have been black African. Most of the whites sold into slavery were from the Mediterranean region and were sold into servitude for the maritime business. Many whites became slaves on our own Barbary Coast and its associated activities. Know the truth about all lives and treat each and every one with equal value and respect. Then All Lives Will Matter.
In our haste to remove monuments have we forgotten that while serving as a reminder of where we came from, it is also an incentive to not return to the sins of the past? Modern day slavery endangers and abuses women and children of all colors and ages and surely needs to stop. Focus all our attention where it is need most. When we lose sight of where we come from we have no focus for where we are headed.
The current displays and exhibits of lawlessness pushing for the elimination of Police or restricting their powers is extremely dangerous. Once again this movement is being funded by outside sources and is using pampered, spoiled individuals to do the ground work. The practice of allowing roving bands of trouble makers to take parts of our cities and turn them into dangerous areas of lawlessness for the pleasure of the few must stop. These groups will not be happy with small areas but will continue to grab more area in more cities until we lose the capability to control them. We cannot tie the hands of law enforcement while depending on the same people to lasso all law breakers.
I have never considered myself a racist and I have never considered being white as giving me an advantage over anyone else. What I have, I worked for. The advantage I had was very simply a complete family, one parent of each sex, and two sisters. We were all raised with plenty of love and a Christian basis on which our principles and morals were founded. I try to be no different than the person I was raised to be, no better and no worse. I fear I am becoming racist because of the feelings I am having about Blacks, Asians, Mexicans and yes most definitely many Whites that have no concept of the way they are destroying our nation. It is time to stop them. If you don’t want police or military action there is another way, parents do your job and teach respect and responsibility to these irresponsible wanderers. Just being white does not give one inherent supremacy or advantage. Like all other accomplishments you must earn respect.
Don’t let yourself be caught unaware. The coming election in November is critical. Most of the disruption you are witnessing or hearing is being performed as an effort to sway the next election. We will not vote for and / or elect Joe Biden for president. The selection of his running mate is vital to the success of his campaign. In all probability, if elected, Joe Biden will not serve much or any of his term and his running mate will most likely be a radical far left member of the Democrat Party. This cannot be allowed to transpire. You must vote for truth and the true leader of the free world.
A collection of diverse friends with equally diverse thoughts is the single most interesting way to gain knowledge.
