A recommendation is a suggestion, sometimes a very strong suggestion, or a proposal, but it is not a law.  There are procedures that must be followed to enact laws.  No one single individual can arbitrarily enact a law without legislative action paving the way.  Governors mayors and other elected officials have either never studied the Constitution or as a matter of convenience are choosing to ignore it.

Several of the above referenced governors and mayors could be and should be removed from office for violating our principle rights as guaranteed in the constitution and bill of rights.  The cancellation of the right to gather for religious and worship purposes is one of the cornerstones of our nation and this right is being violated.  I have heard other citizens such as myself state displeasure over this issue.  However, I have not heard the religious leaders unite, and with strong singular voice demand that worshippers be allowed to decide for themselves how to behave on this issue.

In step with the infringement on religious rights is the right for assembly.  Nowhere in the Constitution does the size of an assembly have limitations.  Five to five hundred are allowed to gather in peaceful assemblage when and where they choose.  Law enforcement officials are being directed to harass and arrest assembled people with flagrant disregard to the law.

If the actions now taking place in our country are allowed to continue we soon will not be a “government of the people, for the people” but will emerge a government of the few elite over the silent hoards that allowed it to happen.  Socialism is knocking at our door and we seem to ignore it.  It is an ugly sound that needs to be addressed.  Unfortunately, many of our elected representation will not deter it but hold the door open welcoming it in.

In six short months we have the opportunity to take our nation back under the control of the people.  Will you participate in this movement or sit silently by and watch freedom and liberty become a fading memory.  I don’t think the current coronavirus is a sign of the coming end of times.  However, the actions taken concerning Covid-19 and sequestering in place, closing of businesses and controlling portions of our lives could very well be a practice for the One World Order many have sought for a long time.

There are two ways to fight the evil forces that are surrounding us.  First and the most powerful force we can use is faith and prayer.  The second is by using the power of the ballot box.  The first charge entails one important factor, preparation.  We must be prepared, for Jesus is returning.  Will we hold open the door and welcome him in, or sit idly by and bemoan our futures.

I don’t mind getting older, I just wish the rest of my body would feel the same way.
