America, wake up, we must reopen our nation and get back to work. The Democrats socialist dream is rapidly replacing the free enterprise system and work ethic we have had since our nation’s inception. No economy can survive when people are paid more to stay home than they can earn by working.
There are many well-meaning people giving advice to the leadership of our country, but their advice is based on guesstimates, charts and panic. Sensationalism is the rule of the day. The most critical thing we can use in the battle against Covid-19 is calm, restraint and faith.
I recently retired after working almost sixty years in one field and fifty of those years in management. I have repeatedly met and worked with experts in the field I had trod daily. The old adage became evident every time one of these experts made their presence known in my workplace. For the most part these experts were experts in their own minds and theories and had little if any actual experience in the field. Those that could not do the job became experts telling the qualified they were wrong in every aspect of a job they themselves could not do.
I admire the actions that President Trump has taken and the manner he has attempted to manage this crisis, even though at the same time I feel a majority of the advice he is being given is bad advice. What good will it be to survive the Coronavirus and not have a civil world to live in when it’s over?
To save our society and the basic civility of our nation and restore our economy is to get this country back open and doing business. Not every community or county in this nation is a death zone. Those areas, where possible, need to be working and employing people. Mr. Trump expressed his desire to have our nation on the road to recovery and reopening by Easter, which will not happen. However, parts of the country be open and other parts following suit as rapidly as possible.
We are setting a precedent for all flu outbreaks in the future. This cannot be allowed to happen. The Democrat Party is elated with the situation we face. The more people we have depending on the government, the better. The more third world like we become the stronger their party becomes. We must show stamina and strength by standing tall and taking our way of life back in control. Mr. President, I support you whole heartedly and pray you do not get led astray by those that pretend to be your allies.
This virus started in China by accident or on purpose, no one knows. It must stop here and let China, Russia, Iran and all others that doubt the United States know we are strong. We have conquered other diseases and won world wars, we not be beat. We are Americans, one and all. Now is the time to stand together and face fear and evil face to face.
Our Governor has just issued a shelter in place order or stay at home decree to be effective Saturday, April 4 at 5:00pm. In reality and deep thought is this not another surrender of some of our basic rights and privileges obtained by living in a free society. Does anyone or any select group have the exclusive right to declare such measures?
