There are symptoms that our country is consumed with a possibly terminal illness that may destroy our economy, freedom and independence. The problem is we keep busy making excuses and treating the symptoms while ignoring the underlying disease the symptoms are alerting us to.
I think the symptoms are apparent but for the large part we refuse to admit them. Let’s take an aspirin for the headache to mask the pain but not to stop the pain is the arena we work in. I am biased, and I admit it. I think the root cause of the headache is the self-appointed dynamic leaders of the Democrat Party. These evil doers are so consumed by their own power and wealth that they hold the weaker members of their party in awe and lead them down the path to self-destruction.
I find that I have been operating on the same level to certain extent. Not all Republican leaders are righteous or good hearted people. But I hope and reverently pray the majority are. Most politicians would throw their followers off the cliff as rats following a Pied Piper. The welfare of our country is nowhere near the top of the list of their concerns. I have endorsed Republicans as a group overlooking the weaknesses being displayed by a few glory hounds, some from Maine, Alaska and Utah. We all need to become more aware of the individual and put aside the party affiliations when we find true patriots willing to sacrifice and serve our nation.
Our founding fathers never in their wildest dreams or nightmares envisioned a government that would operate as ours has evolved. A career politician loses sight of the goal for mankind and becomes self-absorbed over time. Unfortunately we are running out of time. These self-serving individuals have yet to realize, in the end they will destroy themselves.
We have a rookie, a novice politician serving as President. This unpracticed man has assumed the office of President and done a remarkable job so far. Our prestige, our economy and our freedoms have all been bolstered under his tutelage. The problem we have, that is causing all the hate, is he has been better at practicing politics, than the professional politicians we have allowed to remain in Washington for all these years.
All hope has not disappeared. Intelligent and educated persons daily find cures for rare diseases. Miracles occur each and every day for those that believe. An extreme cure may the act of impeachment the democrats are now consumed with. This could be their personal cyanide pill or left over punch from Jim Jones. The greatest hope we have remaining is our faith and willingness to follow based on faith and belief. I feel God has placed Donald Trump where he is to further his cause and be a part of his plan for mankind. We need to unite as one and pray for guidance and wisdom to follow the directions given.
We must stop masking the symptoms and get to the root cause of our trouble and turmoil. Know the symptoms and seek the cause the concentrate on the cure.
Above all, when given the opportunity, vote. Know what you are voting on and act as you are lead.
I don’t mind getting older, I just wish the rest of my body would feel the same way.
