And the circus continues. Clowns continue to peel themselves out of the tiny car. Reason and sanity are nowhere to be found. Listen closely and you heard goosesteps echoing off the walls as the minions theatrically take impeachment papers to their final resting place.
Two words keep filling the voids of my mind, which there is plenty of, urging patience. CAUTION is the first word meaning taking care to avoid danger or mistakes. The risk is now with the Senate which must exercise caution in their deliberations. In my opinion there is very little to debate as regards the impeachment but there is a huge amount to discuss concerning the future of our country and the office of the president.
The second word I am somewhat consumed with is BEWARE meaning to be cautious and alert to the dangers of something. The biggest danger we need be aware of is the destruction and annihilation of the constitution. Were Congress tied to the dictates of the constitution we would not be at this crossroads now. Unfortunately the employees we have sent to Washington have become consumed with personal wealth and power and the constitution be damned.
The American people in 2016 elected an outsider, a novice politician to lead our country. Lead he has and in so doing he has interrupted the good ole boys club, the corruption and disregard they have for the good of our country. The attempts at draining and cleaning the swamp have bred more hate toward our president than most could ever imagine existing toward another human being.
Not all Democrats are idiots and all are not extreme radical socialists. Those that remain moderate and truly patriotic need to assist in calming the current roaring to socialism. At the same time not all Republicans are conservative and try to help the president in his constructive efforts. Rino’s such as Mitch Romney need to be honest with his constituents and run as a Dem or stay out of the game. Sen. Collins and Sen. Murkowski both would rather drive a stake in the heart of the constitution to gain their one flashing moment of notoriety than support the president or our country.
It is imperative our Senate exercise caution and then beware of the consequences of their actions. Our future is at stake. Call, write, email, text or wire your Senators and express your feelings. It is critical. Remind them they are in office to serve we the people.
The political arena is heating up. The party conventions are drawing near. No matter what happens I fear there will be rioting in the streets and open use of weapons. Throughout history these situations have occurred, but are we capable of surviving this turmoil at this time.
Food for thought. Many of us feel as if we are being threatened with extermination. Possibly God has placed President Trump where he is at this time for his purposes. The book of Ester in the Old Testament shows an example of another person placed in an unfriendly situation solely to help the Jewish people survive. The times were different, but circumstances were similar. It took great courage and conviction for Ester to prevail, but with God’s help she did. I see our president exercising courage and conviction, without the help he should be receiving. Our country is strong and powerful much to the chagrin of many radicals, millennials and young college educated individuals.
Prepare yourselves to get active, informed and ready to vote. My future as well as yours depends on your actions. May God continue to bless America and the President of the United States?
You may think I’m wrong, and that’s okay. But in your heart you know I’m still solid right.
