Are you in the same boat as I? I’ m completely fed up with the never ending rhetoric of how our President worked with the Russians to interfere in the free process of our last presidential election. In the event there was interference, how embarrassing the lack of influence there really was and the small amount of money spent on the effort. Is election interference really new?
I have no firsthand knowledge of elections in the early years of our country. I’m sure not all candidates were lily white or men of impeccable stature. Surely dirty tricks and slander have always been a part of politics. However, I am somewhat aware of the political landscape after the end of World War II and the emergence of our CIA. There have been very few elections around this world that we have not actively worked in to try to secure the election we thought was our best choice for an ally.
Sometimes we made good choices and other times we didn’t do so well. We still have not learned to let the peoples of other countries make their own decisions and live with the results.
Other problems we are facing that jeopardize our country and its sovereignty are being promulgated daily by three very distinct and loud groups. The democrats and liberals are being taken over by the radical left and pushing socialism, which eventually will lead to all out government control of each and every persons life. If you want the government to rule every facet of your life, just do nothing. Our education system and the mass media have united to corrupt the minds of a huge amount of our young people. These forces have painted a canvas of bright colors and an image of peace, harmony and love with no investment on the part of the individual other than to take their monies.
The next group is the LGBTQ group. It is a shame we the people have allowed such a small segment of our society to become so influential. This is a derivative of the political correctness movement we have let be force fed to us continually. I still believe God created us in his image and therefore the choices made by the LGBTQ are purely selfishly made. It is not a medical issue and the choice is made purely so one can stand out from the crowd no matter how God and country view it. We have the numbers and the power to be just as loud as this group and we must start using our voices.
The last group are the legal and illegal immigrants flooding our country. Illegal immigration along our southern border is truly a crisis that must be dealt with. Our do nothing congress would rather give our country away than face the challenges and change and create laws to stop the invasion and the subsequent drain on our resources. The other segment of immigration that is often over looked or side stepped is the Muslim wave. This group brings with it all power possible to take control through its empowering of Sharia law and the practice of the radical Islam faith. This practice, called faith and worship is no more than a plague against mankind dreamed up by one individual and used to gain power for the few.
Are these signs of the coming of the end? There are many signs extolled and forecasted in the bible which most of us hold dearly. I am no prophet and not highly educated. However the combination of these forces scares the bee jeebies out of me. I still vow I will fight to my death for the free practice of Christianity. I vow to give all support and strength to honest law abiding legal citizens of this country and I pledge to do all I, as one man can do, to help stop the corruption so rampant in our present day government.
…old will not be old when I get there…..but I do believe I’m getting closer
