Our Congress is floundering, not willing to do anything that would better our country or its future. We as a populace continue to flounder absently sending the same inept representation to govern our country. We are an insane group of people verified by our acts of sending the same people to Washington over and over and expecting a different result.
We have allowed our government to grind to a standstill. Rather than allowing the appearance of a victory for President Trump we let our country slowly fall apart. The division in our politics is worse than any other time in our history. Democrats will semi-unite to fight any proposal or forward action our president or Republican Party attempts. On the other hand our Republicans will not unite and support the president but rather cower and fold to the dems.
We have serious crisis developing in Cuba, Venezuela and Russia. Our southern border has been an ongoing disaster for years yet nothing gets done. We have several states that openly defy the mandates and existing laws of the land by proclaiming sanctuary status both in their states and cities therefore overruling law and order. When will we arise and put a stop to this nonsense?
The only constant we see is the steady flow of our, we the taxpayer, monies going to Washington to be wasted by all. We need a system that monitors the money being spent in this world and where it goes. No congress person should be allowed to participate in any action that sends money to his or her home district or for pork barrel projects. How that would be done, I have no idea. It should be illegal to offer foreign aid to any country except in the assistance of recovering from a natural emergency. No man made of disaster or subsidy to incompetent governance should be allowed.
The only answer to stop the floundering is to start over with a new slate of representation. There is not one congress person now serving capable of carrying forth the desires and mandates of the American people. We need to vote every one of the bums out now and install term limits on the new batch we elect.
The 2020 election cycle has begun. Become concerned, educate yourselves and prepare to participate in free and open elections while we can. The greatest success emanating from the 2016 presidential election was the defeat of Hillary. Can you imagine the turmoil we would now be experiencing if she had been successful in her campaign for president? Now she needs to go away, with her husband, and never be seen or heard from again.
America is at the precipice of self-destruction. We have a very narrow window of time to act. We must be involved, one and all. You may disagree with me, and that’s okay. Just work for the results you feel we need and be a part of our history. To do nothing is the shortest route to failure. Do something.
You may think I’m wrong but you know I’m still right. To be right is not to be left. I will not flounder in my being right, nor in asking God to give us divine support and direction.
