Some in congress, led by Rep. Jerrold Lewis Nadler, are demanding that AG Barr turn over the Mueller report, in its entirety, immediately. This is another example of the uninformed, undereducated group of power hungry neophytes we have sitting in congress. Again I beg of you, read and study our constitution. Notice the name of Mr. Nadler, Jerry Lewis. Was he named after another Jerry Lewis, a great comedian?
Nowhere in our constitution does it dictate that the Mueller Report, or any other, be immediately released to congress yet Mr. Nadler threatens subpoenas if his demands aren’t met. Just as flagrantly stupid as Mr. Nadler appears his peer Ms. Ocacio-Cortez is more apparently living in a drug induced fairy land. The congress did not amend the constitution to keep President Roosevelt from seeking a fifth term.
Once again our constitution is being criticized because of the manner in which we elect a President and Vice-President. Congress cannot arbitrarily make constitutional changes. Amendments must be written and approved in congress then submitted to the states for further approval and acceptance. Then the constitution can be changed. This change we must fight to the bloody end. If we were to eliminate the Electoral College, the balance of our country would be ruled by the dictates of New York, Chicago and California. We do not need this nor could we survive it. If you were to add the cities of Houston and Austin, Texas liberals would rule by a huge majority.
The more our do nothing congress ignores the crisis at the southern border the more liberals will be entering and voting so that conservatives could not achieve anything. The do nothing congress I refer to includes the Republicans who should be ashamed for not supporting our duly elected president and not following the mandates the voters have sounded.
Mexico realizes the reality of the good a border wall can offer. It would be a profitable move for the United States if it were built. The savings in Border Patrol personnel, drug enforcement and humanitarian (welfare) support would pay for the wall in very few months. The wall would be a huge factor in keeping gang members and undesirables out of our country. An example of this benefit was displayed a short time ago when President Trump, by executive order, announced plans to start deporting Democrats. Mexico instantly responded in very unpleasant term that they would build a wall.
Since congress will do nothing for our country, the President is threatening to close the border. First I don’t think he is threatening, he is giving forewarning. The economic impact on business is being hailed as pure devastation. This need not be the case. The border could be closed to all traffic except legitimate commercial crossings. Produce could be trucked across the border with proper inspections. Agricultural products could still be brought in as well as dry goods and all types of manufactured good by ship or air freight. Inspections and verifications of shipments would require fewer people and cost less than conventional means now being employed. Lord knows we cannot live without Mexican Avocados.
The campaigning for the elections of 2020 has begun. It is scary to think that a platform of Socialism or one based on the Green New Deal would be winners, but they could be. Without the Electoral College being there it could be reality. We have a generation of liberals looking for anything free they can get. We old farts need to get up and vote for what is right to help save our country. Start the campaign now. Each voice and each vote only counts if the Electoral College remains in place and actual votes are cast.
Impeachment remains high on the priority list for some members of congress. Is there a means for impeaching congress or some of its members? Free Ron 2020, this could be one of your first platform planks.
