Hate is a very strong word that can be used as a verb or a noun. The word is used to express extreme dislike and often leads to severe hostility fueled by fear, anger or injury. The most hated man ever to serve in an elected capacity in Washington DC is President Donald J. Trump. All three of the descriptors listed above explain the feelings and subsequent actions by democrats, republicans, libertarians and independents now serving in elected office. Another obstructing force that exhibits uncontrolled hate for Mr. Trump are the Washington leeches; lobbyists, contractors and others that continue to get vast sums of money from the good old boys club, whether earned or deserved or not. All of these individuals, male and female, are feeling threatened. These flames of conflict are being fanned by the congressional leaders and the infantile subordinates they control.
In 2016 Donald Trump became the first non-politician to successfully seek and win the office of President of the United States. From the first day he entered the race he was hated and despised by the career politicians he ran against. Every opposing candidate was immediately filled with terror with thoughts that this outsider might accomplish great things and make them look weak and inept while doing it. They fear he will unwrap their secrets of amassing wealth and power and then lose this ability. He has achieved much in his short time in office and has made congress appear as a conclave of weaklings.
Can one imagine the success Mr. Trump would be enjoying if he had been granted the cooperation he should be entitled to? We do not have a democracy in this country as ruling form of government. We have a republic. Under the laws spelled out in the constitution for the United States our Republic grants the president certain unquestionable authority and privilege. I do not and never will advocate for a one man rule or dictatorial actions being committed by anyone while serving as president. Mr. Trump is a successful businessman that is serving, much like our founding fathers envisioned, and at the end of his term will return to his private business.
This country will never realize the success and stature in the world it is capable of with this much division running rampant in our government and country. Our country will never unite until the elected representation we have sent to Washington reaches maturity. Once mature and acting with courage and common sense they can bring an unbreakable unity to all the people. Red and yellow, black and white, like it or not, we are one people. We are Americans and no one should ever feel so secluded or special that they would want secular titles added to their statement of citizenship. These feelings are not generated from being unfairly treated or of having natural privilege. These feelings are nursed and fed by jealousness and laziness.
How can any one person absorb this much hate, these insults and obstructions and continue to strive for a better world on a daily basis? The only way one could muster enough strength to continue to fight to make America great, is to have unabashed love and fortitude. We may have a Democrat Party and a Republican Party, mixed with a few Libertarians and Independents, but we have not one group united behind our President and tirelessly working, as is he, to improve the world for all occupants.
God help us educate our younger congress people as to the reality of Socialism and Communism. Our public education system has failed miserably to educate. Once the socialists gain power and free college is granted everyone, our education standards will sink even lower. The exorbitant, preposterous taxes that are being marketed, will hasten the demise of a free society and cause the new Rome to fall.
I can remember when the cold war was raging near its peak. Nikita Khrushchev boldly yet calmly declared they would win. He continued to state that a shot would never be fired, we would destroy ourselves from within. Is his prophecy coming true? Are we allowing ourselves to be taken over while sitting by and doing nothing? We can enjoy the life we have, but for it to continue, we must work. We must be active and willing to sacrifice for things to improve, if we don’t we’ll sacrifice and lose everything we have.
We all must e-mail, write, wire or call our elected officials and let our wishes and desires be known. Remind them they work for us and we can fire them. One way to get term limits and to have our government listen to us is through a Convention of States. We the people still a country and a means to be heard. Why is it so difficult to get thirty-seven of our independent states to agree on calling a convention when their electorate begs for it?
You may think I’m wrong, but never forget, I’m still right…..
