There has never been a more dysfunctional governing body in all recorded history than the present Congress of the United States of America. The current interrogation of Mr. Brett Kavanaugh has been a genuine embarrassment for our country.

The current exposure of class and intelligence is the accumulation of the sharpest minds, most educated group of men and women in our country which we have elected and sent to Washington to run the affairs of our government. May God help us? If ever there was time that divine intervention was needed it is now.

Throughout the annals of history we have had nominees for the Supreme Court of the U.S. that went through confirmation without being asked a single question. There have been others that were asked limited, superficial questions in the process being called a hearing for the candidate. The imbecilic acts displayed this week are in no way a hearing on qualifications of this nominee to be the next justice on the high court.

This so called hearing has become a circus act with short campaign speeches intermixed. The presidential wannabes have further embarrassed themselves while mocking the republicans and the process. The liberal left has orchestrated a well defined series of distractions and interruptions to no avail, other than embarrassing the perpetrators.

The end of our nation is at hand. Riots, revolts, destruction and anarchy will replace our rule of law unless changes are made immediately. The only to affect change is at the ballot box. In less than sixty days your opportunity to initiate change will be before you. Unless you want to live in a world of socialism and anarchy, this will be the most important election of your lifetime. Repeatedly I have called for the citizenry to become educated on the issues and the candidates and vote. This has not changed.

Part of the process of increasing the vote for the candidate or issue of your choice is to let your choice be known. Acquire bumper stickers and yard signs to proudly show your support, hopefully of the president and individuals that can assist him in advancing his good causes. As usual I ask everyone to confirm they are registered to vote, know their location to vote and get out and vote.

One last thought, so very often overlooked, is encourage others to vote. Contact your local office for voter registration and obtain extra registration forms. In conversation with all you come in contact with ask if they are registered. If not give them one of your extra forms and help them become registered. Offer to turn the completed form in for them or give them an envelope to remit by mail the completed form. There are many ways to help stir up the voting populace. Do your part. Thanks Wanda.

Our nation is severely split. We must do all we can to unite and steer our country back on the route of freedom, liberty and justice.
