I must admit, just like much of America, I have been asleep. It is now time for America to wake up. Failure to wake up and become active will have results we will never overcome, and it will be fatal for our country.

I have just returned from an extended vacation celebrating my retirement from gainful employment. Now I have no excuse for not becoming more involved than ever before. On bended knee I plead for each person I can reach out to, to wake up and become active with me in trying to save our way of life.

Mile after mile I have listened to talk radio as we traversed the great southwest. The one mantra monopolizing the air ways is how everything can and should be given to each individual for free. The disconcerting part of this is, nothing is free. I hear advocates of free education, healthcare and guaranteed incomes preach the tenets of their beliefs realizing they actually believe what they say. This is the result of the socialistic education that has been dispensed for years and has finally taken over the thought processes of our young leaders and future leaders. The great shortcoming is they have seen or realized the result of the socialist movements that have been exercised the world over. It has never been successful and it has not lasted. The socialists eventually run out of other people’s money to spend.

I have repeatedly avowed there simply will not be a blue wave this November. I now worry that I may be mistaken, while praying I am not. It the blue wave occurs, it will be trimmed with a red frame formed by the communistic democrat socialists. The only democratic socialists that ever came into power were short lived. The one most often coming to mind was short lived albeit surviving too long were the Nazi’s of Adolph Hitler. A like movement is swirling under foot at this time and must be countered by all means possible.

There are loud entrenched voices presently in Congress echoing a move in the direction of socialism while a horde of new faces and voices are emerging with their support to go in the same direction. These promises sound wonderful but are not reality. There is not enough money in the world, much in the United States to support such programs.

The immigration challenge is more critical now than it has ever been. Liberals, both left and right, court illegal immigration and open borders as a means of garnering more votes. We must seal our borders and clamp down on the fraudulent wastes experienced in the welfare system. Congressional leaders have already declared they will not be coming back to Congress and therefore have no desire to help rectify any programs that are being misused and abused. We the citizenry must be heard and force the remaining conservatives to come out of their shells and do what is right and what they were elected to do.

The 2018 mid-term elections are the most critical elections we have had in recent history. While the past shows us the incumbent party inherently loses seats in both the House and Senate, we cannot allow this to occur. For the first time in over thirty years we have a president in office that is putting America and the American people first in all his actions. He has achieved more in less than two years than most former presidents have attempted and has done it without the help of his own party. It is mandatory we keep control of Congress and send even more like minded individuals to support and assist Mr. Trump in his endeavors.

The only way that conservatives can survive and prevail is to get involved. We must be all out involved with educating others, registering other conservatives to vote, campaigning and actually going to the poll and voting. Do not fall victim to ambivalence. Our opponents are working hard and full time. Liberals are out registering conservatives in huge numbers. Liberals are working to get every illegal to cast illegal votes for more liberals. We cannot let them be victorious.

We must work hard to stem the growing tide of the blue wave. We must educate, be heard, be seen and vote, vote, vote.
