SHUTDOWN

Surprise, surprise, once again we are threatened with a government shutdown.  This time the deadline is Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.  I have lived through these temporary shutdowns before and guess what, life continued.  Let it shutdown.  We do not need to repeatedly pass two week stop gaps, nor do we need to not pass a budget strictly for political reasons.

If there is any way that congress allows the shutdown, caused by Democrats and illegals, what will the Republicans do to convince the public they and Trump caused it.  Republicans need to educate themselves on how to get their message across to a left media.  This media would rather dominate discussions on whether President Trump truthfully referred to some countries as shithole countries than report the record setting economy and stock market.

If DACA is the determining factor on whether the government gets funded, don’t fund it.  We need the wall much worse than we need DACA.  Bottom line is Dreamers are not citizens of this country and in fact are criminals.  They are in this country illegally.  I don’t care if momma and daddy brought the poor innocent kids with them when they illegally crossed the border, they still broke the law and that makes them criminals.

The majority of these illegals do nothing but take from us.  They do not attempt to learn our language or become a viable part of our society.  We do not need them but they want us and what we offer.  But I digress.

In the past when government shut down many of my friends, neighbors and relatives did no more than get an extra vacation.  First announcements come out stating all non-essential personnel do not report for work.  I would feel a little strange if I were known as or considered non-essential in my job.  If these people are truly non-essential, why are they on the government payroll in the first place?  Upon returning to work they receive full compensation for the time they were off.  The only sector to really suffer from the shutdown was our military.  In the minds of democrats we don’t even need the military; they are giving our country away with no resistance, just to gain voters and votes.

If they want to shutdown, shutdown, and start with their non-essential congressional jobs.  Now, just don’t give them their pay for the time they are shutdown.  These money grubbing miscreants would then get off their collective posteriors and do something.  On the other hand, if they were shutdown without pay they would be doing nothing; this might do the country more good than if they were working.

Oh well, you know how I feel.  Saying more would just be repetitive.

Remember, I may be wrong, but I’ll still be right.
