It has finally happened. We have been successful in congress without a single democrat vote. Of course John McCain was in the hospital and couldn’t throw a monkey wrench in it.

We have tax reform with lower taxes for most Americans. Don’t get carried away, it’s only for ten years due to some screw ball congressional rules. We are still waiting for this do nothing group of good old boys, sex offenders and has been’s to come out of their shell and act on border security, immigration and cleaning up the FBI.

Most individuals I have known in my lifetime have had very limited interaction with the lead investigation organization in this country, the FBI. This is one agency most people held in high esteem. The agents in the field are probably very good people, but the leadership of the organization has to go.

If my fellow Alabamian, Jeff Sessions, ever wakes up maybe the entire Department of Justice will be overhauled. Once again this arm of the government, the highest of law enforcement, has proved itself a vital part of the swamp. The average citizen has said many times over the years there is more than one set of rules or laws to live by. This has been proven by the inaction toward the Clintons and the IRS leaders along with James Comey.

It can be the same story over and over but this is not the season for that. Let’s revel in the knowledge we made progress with the tax reform. Now we need to take a chair, dim the lights and enjoy the glow of the Christmas tree. Let the scents of peppermint and cinnamon calm and relax you. It is a joyous time.
