Maybe it just takes me longer to wake up and face reality than most people.  My being so bullheaded has caused me much anguish and restlessness.  Had I just accepted reality as it is, I would be enjoying a much better disposition than I presently find myself facing. 

In communication with my friend, and host of the Von Wehunt program on KFNX 1100 in Phoenix, I found the most accurate, concise definition of my circumstance.  He aptly stated “I never left the Republican party….but the party left me!”  I feel as though I have been abandoned. 

The Tea Party is a conservative movement within the Republican Party.  Shortly after the first inauguration of Barack Obama this group began protesting the free spending and disregard of the constitution by this administration.  These people were true conservatives and I agree with most of their stances on the issues.  However being a true Republican conservative, I failed to unite with this group.  Little did I realize at that time that most incumbent Republicans were not conservative.  Now we sit here and try to discern if there are any true conservative Republicans. 

 It is popular to refer to certain individuals in congress as a RINO, republican in name only.  Another way to say this, with as true a definition as any, is CINO, conservative in name only.  There are many conservatives out there, although I feel most are afraid of the fallout they would receive if they voiced their concerns and offered solutions, all due to the political correct climate in which we live today. 

Mr. President, if you can find conservatives, either Democrat or Republican, that are courageous, solicit their help and build the wall, kill government run health care and get congress busy reforming our antiquated and complicated tax system.  That is what you were elected to do and need to do.  The only dreamers we have room for are those that dream of a safe, secure and strong America.  How much will be accomplished through compromise and concessions remains to be seen. 

Will we ever know the truth concerning what was given to the opposition to accomplish anything?  We have no way of knowing.  All the news we receive via mass media is nothing but lies.  Would media get the message if we stopped reading, watching or listening to national news?  I recommend that for a thirty day period we monitor our local news outlets only.  We would not listen to the networks or cable news outlets.  We will not be misled by lies yet we will know what is happening in our neighborhoods.  Possibly our minds will clear a little and we will have better relationships with our families due to not being hammered continuously with fake, depressing news. 

Mr. Trump, your base of support is with you, but it is beginning to question what is happening.  Take charge and call congress out.  Let the people know who is causing the hang ups and obstacles you routinely face. 

It’s not a pretty job, but someone has to do it.  Why you subjected yourself to all this grief is beyond me.  Now you are there, and pleasant or not, do what must be done.  Drain the swamp and make America great again.  We are threatening the tipping point of no return.  The time to act is now. 

No man is an island.  We realize you can’t do it all by yourself.  When you speak, America listens, tell us what we can do to help, now.  I feel abandoned, but I want to help. 

It’s possible, I may be wrong, but I’ll still be right…
