MAJORITY

The United States of America is a Republic governed as a Representative Democracy.  We have a government consisting of elected representation that is elected by majority vote.  These representatives enact laws, ordinances general rules of government through a majority vote of these individuals.  The majority of the population does not vote on every law proposed so we become a limited representation democracy.  In essence the majority rules, but not directly.

With the above being stated what has happened in our country?  The more vocal a group may be, regardless of the size of the group, it seems they get more accomplished than the unspeaking majority.  The LGBTQ segment of our population consists of less than 5 percent.  We have the ANTIFA group, Anti Capitalism and Anti Government groups making as much noise as can possibly be made by small groups.  Yet the majority sit back and discuss the loud sounds coming from the right but make no effort to counter the distraction.

The pro-choice group has made enough noise to force congress to repeatedly fund and support Planned Parenthood and has cost the American taxpayer millions of dollars while so doing.  I know of no Christian group that can condone the rampant use of abortions this group endorses, yet not one Christian group will unite and stop the distraction the smaller group is causing.

The present display of rioting and protesting is being done by small groups.  However, these small groups are getting smarter.  They are uniting with other small groups enabling them to disrupt and distract from actions being performed for the better of the general populace and the good of our country.

Of the 330,000,000 plus citizens in this country there are very few White Supremists and Neo-Nazis yet the media has mass amounts of coverage on their activities.  Where are the patriots that love our country while this hysteria takes place?

Remember the days of the “silent majority?”  This majority has disappeared when it is needed most.  With the extreme din of the riots and protests, absent is the sound of the silent majority.  The Christian faith extols the virtue of love for all including your enemies.  I love all those that comprise these extreme groups.  Yes, I can love them and still disagree with their actions and motives.  I have great pity for the ignorance and disregard for the rule of law they express.  These people, in large part, are the product of our generation and have not been taught truth and virtue.

The silent majority must arise.  The silent majority must become vocal.  The silent majority must unite and speak as one to save our great nation.  Houston, don’t worry.  It’s only a hurricane, not four years of President Hillary.
