I repeatedly asked everyone to become involved with the politics of our nation that are taking place at this time.  I have told many persons that this BLOG is just something I want to do and in the scheme of all things means very little.  If I can get the attention of one person to become involved or even think a little deeper on these subjects, then I have been a success.  Below is a copy of a letter one reader shared with me.  She sent this letter to several congress people including Senator Graham, Senator McCain and Senator Rubio.  After repeated attempts to email these individuals, with no positive results, she resorted to the tried and true postal service.

Senator Graham: 

First, I want to thank you for your service to our country.   

I believe that you are familiar with Alexander Tyler and He charted the ages of the world’s greatest civilizations from beginning of history as follows:from bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence; and finally from dependence back to bondage. 

Well my good man, we are there. 

Now, I would like for you to look back on your career after the military.  You have grown angry, complacent, rich and showing all our young folks just how rotten congress has become.  Never in my life, have I seen such anger and disrespect for our constitution.  We the people stood up and elected Donald Trump as our President and it is your job to support that person.  If you have a notion that you being so rude and critical of him is acceptable, look again. 

Also, please take a look at what you have allowed to happen on your watch.  Unrestrained spending that has added up such a huge debt that our children can never expect to pay. Health insurance that no one wants except the far left and they believe in living off the government.  Then the audacity to think that you do not have to live under the same laws that we do further shows just where your loyalties are. Therefore, our children and grandchildren will never live in an America like we were privileged to do. 

Political Correctness has gotten in your way so that you are afraid to do what you were sent to Congress to do. 

All of you there have gotten fat and rich living off the backs of all of us.  We are totally through and if you cannot look truthfully at what you have let happen to us; and back our President as he tries to clean out the swamp then it is time for you to go.  I realize that is scary to you as it appears that all of you are a part of the swamp and fear that the truth will come out.

This person got email responses stating email boxes were full and others stating no one was monitoring this email box.  This is great representation and great concern for the common man.  Letters don’t have to be long; we just need lots of them.  Lets inundate everyone in Congress and show them we are aware and watching their every move.
