What is the biggest threat we as a nation are facing?  Threats come in many forms and from many sources.  I considered the words of Nikita Khrushchev, back in the early sixties, a threat when he proclaimed that the USSR would take over the United States from within and never fire a shot. 

Around the world, threats are an everyday part of life.  Despots, rulers and tsars are threatening their own people and going so far as to drop chemical weapons on them.  The biggest threat to life is to cause unstable governments.  When governments can no longer rule, anarchy is free to take over. Government cannot govern with the partisan standoff that now exists.  A government that does not govern finds itself without a country to govern.  We basically are in a twenty-first century civil war.  Divided we all shall surely fail.  We must unite to survive.

Our country is now at a critical crossroad where its very existence is threatened.  Polls, if you can believe them, show our president at the lowest position of favorability in history.  His standing can rise with a resolution of the appointment of Mr. Gorsuch to the vacancy on the Supreme Court.  Mr. Schumer is attempting to be very pawky in his negative stance on all things proposed by republicans and conservatives.  The entire democrat party has become nefarious in the actions and stance they are taking.  This purposeful disruption does nothing but cause more unrest and hostile feelings between the very populace they are elected to protect and govern. 

Government cannot govern when a state of confusion and hate exists between the political elites.  I feel the republicans can overcome the resistance if only they would unite.  The republicans are the majority party in both houses of congress, yet they continue to operate from a seeming point of weakness.  Every movement the president makes is blocked by the democrats and the republicans sit idly by shaking their heads and wringing their hands. 

One threat we hear very little about concerns two of our enemies.  Could it be possible that Iran and North Korea are working in tandem?  While Iran devotes all its resources to developing a nuclear weapon, North Korea very publicly toils to develop a delivery system for their part.  If this is happening just imagine the first weapon being delivered to Israel while the second is in the air headed for a large United States military post or a city with dense population.  If this bomb missed its target and accidentally exploded in the skies above our homeland, could we survive? 

We must reach unity to restore calm and level headed thinking.  Comrade Putin and his circle of supporters are having a great laugh at our expense.  Agreement must be reached to secure our borders and then prepare to protect ourselves for the scenario stated above or some equally devastating tragedy.   

There are threats waiting to be fulfilled from all corners of this world.  We have had eight years of doing nothing.  We cannot wait any longer to become involved in world events.  Our future is at stake.  There are much more important concerns that need to be addressed, much more important than some poor democrat with hurt feelings, bruised ego and in a state of mourning for Hillary. 

Accept the results of the election, then quit protesting, whining, and obstructing.  The best way to do that; go get a job today.
