This election cycle is drawing to an end but the fervor rages on. Decision time is here. If there are any undecided’s left, they need to get off the fence and take a stand for something. If you are eighteen or older the decisions you make this week will affect the rest of your life. People my age may not live long enough to see the final scene that will unfold.
I have continued to present my views, admittedly one sided, concerning Christianity, morals and my take on common sense, as if I really have any. I take it as a sign of good things to come that I have received news from relatives and close friends that just maybe I swayed their thought process, or at least contributed to it, and helped them see things my way. I continue to pray rigorously that the actions we may take are not too late to save our country.
Sometimes things are best stated when put forth in very simple terms. Being a man I have often found myself looking at the abortion situation from a cloudy distance. Do men have the right to dictate the actions of women on issues that are this private, personal and deep? As my Christianity and faith mature, I find myself looking at it more deeply. Each and every one of us can remember the time spent studying the regime of Adolph Hitler and the atrocities administered during the holocaust. After paying more attention to the abortion argument as it relates to the holocaust, I have come to one great comparison. Since the passage of Roe vs. Wade in America, we have aborted, or more appropriately killed, ten times as many unborn children as Jews that were killed in the holocaust. Our choice for president can either continue this practice as a convenient means of birth control or greatly impair the ability to practice such atrocities.
Decision time is here. Your decision is important and far reaching. My God bless you in the decision you reach. Exercise your decision on November 8 and take a stand for what is right and good.
