What kind of society or civilization would we exist in if we did not have leaders? Leaders have specific talents and traits that attract others to follow and obey. Good leadership tends to create an orderly society. Poor leadership can cause any group or clan to disintegrate into anarchy and raw survival of the fittest. In which type of America would you prefer to live?
Throughout the annals of recorded history there have been despots that created or attempted to create empires with complete disregard to the price paid by others. Pure evil resides within some individuals and yet, these evil persons can develop a following by exhibiting strong, persuasive leadership tendencies. Africa remains a continent of predominately third world countries due to the repeated emergence of this type of leaders. Our own nation enables many of these small countries to survive and endure through subsidies aimed at purchasing their loyalty and alliances. Usually these relationships last a short time in the scope of all things and do not turn out well for us. Our practice of distributing large sums of money to these countries normally leaves us looking foolish to the rest of the world, yet they all come with hands open seeking their share.
This country operates with a one of a kind leadership. We are a country based on the principal of being “of the people, by the people and for the people.” All citizens of this great nation are supposed to play a vital part in the leadership that is in place. We can vote persons into or out of office like no other nations peoples can. We have evolved into a nation that elects leaders on their appearance and articulate speech that they put forth. Everything that looks good is not necessarily good. Evil can present as pretty a face as has ever been seen. Through education and investigation we must be able to discern which is good and which is not.
This country has experienced, in the past, with the help of God, some exceptional leaders. In times of dire need, wars and threats of wars we have been fortunate that strong, good leaders have emerged. God fearing, educated, strong men have stepped forward and led us to the prominence we have enjoyed. In the past many were the times these leaders suffered great sacrifice to be able to serve the people. Our nation has been through more than one hard time but was able to keep on track and through hard work reach the end for which we strived.
After two hundred and forty years we find ourselves at one of those crucial times. Our leaders in both the Congress and the Oval Office have proven to be excellent campaigners and fund raisers, but definitely are not leaders. We are looking for and must find that strong individual that is a leader, to pull us back together. Over the past recent history we have lost standing in the world community as a leader of nations. Our citizens have become more divided than at any time since the great civil war. We must unite and become Americans above all else. We must blend the black with the white and the white with the brown until all colors are immune to special treatment. We must be American not African-American, not Asian-American and definitely not Mexican-American. When we become several separate groups of hyphenated people we will have no loyalty to either.
We have had no leadership for the last seven plus years. We have descended to new depths of prestige, strength, economy and unity never before imagined under this lack of leadership. Our elected Congress has become so secularized that it cannot function. Our President has acted as unconstitutionally and reckless as the most spoiled child could ever be expected to act. We need, in an organized manner to begin the replacing of every person that has selfishly abandoned their principles and considered exclusively their own betterment.
We need a leader. We must elect a leader. The people have expressed their disgust with the present leadership and yet they do not listen. We need to exercise a new Boston tea party and throw them overboard. We can accomplish this if we can bridge the gap of greed and short sightedness, being subject to rough seas while correcting the ship of state.
Become educated, become involved and become one of the minority of the populace that will actually vote.
