HARD TIMES
Saddle up, buckle in, and get ready for the ride of your life. My parents repeatedly told stories of the hard times experienced by almost everyone during the “great depression.” Living conditions forced habits to be formed concerning frugality that lasted the rest of their lives. My mother-in-law has trouble to this day spending, or seeing others spend, money for things not absolutely necessary. Experience and memories of hard times last a lifetime.
Most people my age and younger have never had to endure the times our ancestors endured. We may have been tight with money due to our individual circumstances, but we never did without. Can we sustain the trials of another depression if it were to occur? Can we forego the pleasures of instant gratification regarding luxuries as our ancestors did?
As a youngster I was taught to pay attention to what was happening around the world. One dire warning I heard repeated over and over concerned the coming of the end times. One sign that we looked for was the emergence of a one world government and the coming of the anti-Christ that would rule. My sister and I have half heartedly talked of the direction toward one world government since the inception of the European Union. There has been talk of a universal monetary system including the United States. Marketing is being used integrating references to a “one world.”
The news today is consumed with Great Britain voting to separate itself from the E.U. Sources are feverishly working in the background to make England suffer for taking this action. Just like establishment figures in the United States, both politicians and international big money handlers are upset. This separation from the E.U. will limit their influence and power. This they do not like and will use every resource available to them to punish such action. My hat goes off to the people of the United Kingdom for beginning the process of taking their country back and controlling and determining their own destiny. Another example Bernie, and all his followers, socialism just doesn’t work.
England will once again be able to control their economy through trade relations without seeking approval of others. It is impossible to have fair and just treatment from a union of countries that are jealous and spiteful of each other. England will now be able to control their borders and immigration. They will donate and assist other nations as they deem necessary, not as they are dictated to do.
In the United States today there is vicious vitriol concerning our sovereignty, border security and immigration. In the seventeen sixties, seventies and eighties we united and separated ourselves from a dominating and oppressive ruler. These patriots sacrificed much and endured great personal loss to accomplish this. These early colonists did without many necessities and almost every luxury they had enjoyed previously.
Do we have the courage and fortitude to subject ourselves to hard times today? If we exercise the same courage that Great Britain has exhibited and vote to take our country back we will most assuredly suffer hard times like we have not seen since the great depression. The same international politicians and money forces will attempt to exert extreme pressure on us so as not to lose their power, influence and control. Sovereignty of our nation is at stake, we must reclaim our ability to self rule. Our borders must be secured and immigration controlled. Our monetary system is at risk of collapse unless we control our deficits and reckless spending immediately.
If we take the action to take our country back, we will have hard times. Others before us have sacrificed to give us a free and independent nation, will we? We can make America great and powerful again, but the action to do so will carry a heavy price. Are we prepared to pay?
