ANARCHY

ANARCHY

Anarchy is understood as the condition of a society or group of people or even a single person that rejects any hierarchy or chain of command. In some societies or sects it means leaderlessness, (the condition or state of being without a leader or leadership, yes, it is a word.) On Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Seattle, Washington there were protests and riots against capitalism and favoring anarchy, socialism and communism.  The sad fact of the matter is: most of the people involved did not even know the meaning of the movements they were advancing or denying.

Again I blame the lure of anti-establishment movements to a lack of education both in schooling and parental guidance. The practice of capitalism is the one venture that allows or makes possible the very protests these enabled, spoiled and in most instances privileged persons partake.  As a society, most of us have done a less than admirable job of educating our offspring of the benefits they have and how they happen to be possible.

Capitalism may not be perfect. It does allow some people to excel above others establishing a hierarchy of successful entrepreneurs.  Without the desire to excel and succeed there would be no prosperity and no beneficial jobs for anyone.  Life, with all the luxuries we have come to take for granted would immediately cease.  Capitalism coupled with free enterprise enables the world to sustain business and improvements in conditions for all peoples.

Both socialism and communism have proved themselves to be unsustainable. No country has survived and improved the conditions for life by operating with either socialism or communism.  Socialism has the goal of all people attaining the same level of success and no one exceeding the preconceived utopia.  Communism very simply stated relinquishes all property and holdings to a central governing body with Aristocrats deciding who gets what, when they get it and what they should do with it.

It is a shameful situation and should be an embarrassment to any educated freedom loving person to see protests and riots such as took place on Mayday 2016 in Seattle. Education should be the best weapon against the will to advocate these systems.  However, the states of education, as practiced at most institutes of higher learning encourage younger followers to adhere to these practices.  Two conditions that lend themselves to these teachings are the practice of tenure for educators and the ease of receiving large amounts of money at the expense of others.

If educators were not able to become tenured, the requirements for continued employment would be radically enhanced. Educators should be gauged solely on the success or failure their students achieve in the classroom.  If false or misleading teaching were to occur that instructor could be released if it were not for being tenured.

There is too much money, easily available, through student loans, to keep the cost of education where most people can afford it. A large movement at this time is for free college to all.  This event would do nothing more than destroy the remaining credulous tenets of education.  If these monies were not so readily available the credibility of educators would be restored and the corruption caused by big money would not be present.

Once more, it is the duty of every freedom loving, wage earning American to begin the education process at home, at the earliest age of comprehension. Practical experience coupled with schooling would bridge the gap we now face with reality.
