STILL ANGRY

STILL ANGRY

It all started when I declared “I am angry.” Since then I’ve had lots of fun and hope you have too.  Hope you’ve enjoyed all this stuff I’ve sent you.  But now I have to say something, I’m still angry.  Maybe you don’t find that strange or amusing, but I really am still mad.

The year 2016 with all the hype of a presidential election will go down in history as the most important there ever has been. The results and outcome are still pending.  I just pray and encourage everyone else to do the same and that God will see fit to intercede and have us elect the correct person.  If you are like me you have to agree that’s the only way we’ll get the right person.

Ranking right up near the top of the list of things that frustrate me is the Republican Party. Or maybe I should say the old establishment of the Republican Party.  What levels will these architects of politics stoop to so they may continue their grip on the party.  The recent rant by Mitt Romney about Donald Trump’s taxes is completely unbelievable.  That was an act that had to be engineered by group in full panic that they are about to lose control of what they have manipulated for years.  Mitt Romney gave the election to Barack Obama when he could have won hands down.  Now he emerges as a beaten candidate that is bitter with anyone that may do better than he.  The anger and suspicion he displayed had to be calculated, well planed and directed to hurt the front runner.  Mitt Romney wasn’t smart enough to do this on his own; he was led by the establishment.

In the last few days Donald Trump finally began receiving endorsements from members of congress. Isn’t that simply amazing?  Does this mean the establishment is starting to reach out and wake up?  There are only two candidates that are true conservatives and have a chance to win the nomination.  They are The Donald and Ted Cruz.  The only man the establishment hates worse than Donald is Ted Cruz.  They have gone against him in the past, they know where he stands, and they don’t like it.  Donald, they don’t know and are terrified of the unknown.  Great isn’t it?

I’m still angry because the establishment just doesn’t get it. We don’t want more of the same and we don’t want the same people controlling our lives through the legislature.  The Japanese were said to have “awakened a sleeping giant” when they bombed Pearl Harbor.  Well guess what?  You have awaked the sleeping giant again.

Republicans, quit trying to kill each other. Unite and put all energy and efforts toward beating the Democrat presidential nominee, no matter which one it is.  It is time to stay awake and get loud, very loud.  Don’t let Fox News or CNN do your talking.  Be proud, stand tall and speak for yourself.

The thoughts and ideas expressed above are exclusively those of Jack Straley. We may agree, and that’s fine, or we may disagree, that’s okay too.  My sole purpose is to encourage others to think, study, and become involved. Exercise your freedom and above all else please vote.
