HELL
I have been one that was never embarrassed by asking God to bless events in my life and to thank God for the riches I have. I feel our founding fathers felt they were guided by God when creating this nation. Every piece of currency we have is emblazoned with the words “In God We Trust” as a reminder that all our treasures were provided with his help.
I realize many of the leaders of this country have for years purposefully tried to steer away from, or maintain any belief in, or support from a power greater than themselves. Not until the last few days did I realize that God carefully watched and recorded the vote of each individual, especially women that was cast. Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright brought this to my attention. While campaigning for one of the Democratic candidates seeking the Democrat primary nomination, Ms Albright boldly and proudly stated: “Now is the time for women to support women. Hillary Clinton will always be there for you. Remember, there is a special place in hell for all women that do not support women.” The implication of this statement was that for any female not voting for Hillary Rodham Clinton, they would spend eternity burning in the fires of Hell.
I have heard more that once that for the last seven years we have been suffering life in a Hell of our own making. If this is so, and you want to continue living this way, then vote to continue the status quo. For life to get better, for all to be able to live and achieve the American Dream, we must have change. We will have change if the dictates of the Constitution are met but what I am talking about is a basic change of philosophy. We must change the direction our country is heading. We must make it strong and proud again.
I invite, even beg you to disagree with me if you so desire. I will listen and engage with you in discussing the reasons we have differences. The only requirement from me, be educated on your point of view, be active and solicit others to share your views, and vote to get your ideals instituted. Please do not waste my time listening to you complain, if you are not going to vote If you care so little that you cannot exercise your duty to vote, why would I or anyone else care to listen to you.
The forces of evil are waging a worldwide war against believers. We must defeat these influences. We can only defeat them if we know who they are, where they are, and what they believe. The only way to answer these questions is to become educated. If we want to continue a free way of life we must know and understand the beliefs and commitments others have. Our commitment to a continuation of a free world power is to vote and take part in debates that concern our future and survival.
People must stand together, shoulder to shoulder, to make changes for the betterment of our country and correct our current situation. We have all, more than once heard: “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” Let’s take our good intentions and get into action to not go to hell. Learn and vote. Let’s not let our country fail because good people, do nothing.
