I AM ANGRY

I  AM  ANGRY

I am angry, yes, very angry. I am glad to be considered as angry. I’m angry about what has happened to my country and what continues to happen. What has become of the rule of law and the foundation to our country and way of life, the constitution?

No where in any form or manner was our country founded and the constitution written to give congress power to control and dictate every aspect of our lives.  We can no longer go to the store and purchase a light bulb without congress telling us what type of bulb we must have. Congress has become a haven for the ruling elite and a center to amass great wealth at the expense of the citizenry. Yes, I am angry.  Every law that is passed and every agency that is formed affects my life yet the very people enacting these controls are able to exempt themselves on most issues. What has happened to a government “for the people, by the people?” In my understanding “by the people” does not translate to “by the lobbyists and special interest groups.”

For the first time in the history of our country, we have an elected president, that was previously a mediocre constitutional law professor, that continually violates the mandates and power of the constitutional authority granted his office.  A one term senator that did nothing but vote present when he voted on any action, was elected exclusively based on his color and ability to deliver orations with the aid of teleprompters.  The presidential election has become a popularity contest based not on ability but totally on “awe” power.  The majority of our populace is so indifferent to issues facing our country they do not even vote.  Many of the people that do vote and under informed or ignorant of the issues and processes their ability to vote should be questioned.  All the while we have no control on our borders allowing new illegal immigrants the ability to enter and vote for the great provider that will freely give all to fill their imagined needs. Yes, I am angry.

America wake up. Donald Trump may not be the person to lead our country.  However, we owe him a debt of gratitude for waking the sleeping masses.  For the first time since Ronald Reagan we have a man capable of speaking the common man’s language and getting them involved. We each have the responsibility of pressing our concerns and supporting the person we feel will best lead us through difficult times.  There will be extremely difficult times for the next president if he attempts to straighten the wrongs of the present regime.  We need a person that will lead and direct congress to do what they are elected to do.

Congress has specified powers and these are the things they should face. Let’s give control of the issues that affect us locally back to the states.  Let’s force the Supreme Court to interpret the law as written and not write new laws as they so desire.  We have checks and balances in place that are not being utilized. I am angry.

Every person must become involved in the process. If a constitutional convention of the states is called support it.  Voice your concerns and opinions.  Educate the uneducated and under informed.  Make them aware.  This is the last opportunity you will have to effect changes in the direction our country is going, unless you take part in this election.  Get involved, support the candidate of your choice.  Never stop talking to others, contact your elected representstives and voice your concerns and suggestions.  Change has never come easy, and neither will this.Hope and change is not an election campaign slogan, it is much more. Now is the time for drastic change and then hope and pray.

The only way to save our country is to become angry and do something.  Don’t just agree with this and do nothing.  Get involved and stay active. You may never have another chance. America has been great to let it be ruined now. Stand up take action and together we can make America great again. I am angry and I will do everything I can. It may be small but with the help of every informed American we can win. Then, and only then, will I be happy.
